Rush Limbaugh : Friends, Romans, Countrymen …

In fact, it may be that President Obama single-handedly came up with the technique in order to pull this off.  You see, the military wanted to go in there and bomb like they always do. They wanted to go in there and drop missiles and launch bombs, a number of totally destructive techniques here.  But President Obama, perhaps the only qualified member in the room to deal with this, insisted on the Special Forces.  No one else thought of that.  Not a single intelligence advisor, not a single national security advisor, not a single military advisor came up with the idea of using SEAL Team 6 or any of the Special Forces.

Our military wanted to go in there and just scorch the earth, leaving no evidence of anything after the mission.  But President Obama single-handedly understood what was at stake here.  He alone understood the need to get DNA to prove the death.  Obama alone understood the aftermath, alone understood that there would be doubting Thomases if the place was just obliterated and no evidence was to be found.  According to news reports, not one member of the military, not General Petraeus, nobody in the intel community, nobody had the slightest idea of going in there and using Special Forces.  It was President Obama, single-handedly and alone, who came up with the strategy that brought about the effective assassination of Osama Bin Laden.

I’m a hard Obama critic but I’m going to give credit where credit is due. He really did want to kill Osama Bin Laden and it’s finally done now. Thank you Presidents Obama and Bush for not giving up.

  2. Luke of the D says:

Is this guy for real? How retarded can you be… 10 years to hunt down one wirey bearded guy why probably smelled of goats and we celebrate – CELEBRATE – his assassination? If he had been captured sure – try him! Hang him! – celebrate away! But celebrate an assassination? Have we Americans really fallen that far?

Not to mention… good old B. Hussein O. now just went and made the man what he always wanted to be… the perfect muslim martyr. So give ol’ Hussein a good pat on the back there why don’tcha.

    • NoMoreGore says:

True or False, the “story” is that they wished to take him alive, but he chose to shoot it out. So, if true, no more an asassination than any other arrest that ends up in a shootout with dead bad guys.

      • Luke of the D says:

Ok fair, Mr. NoMoreGore. A botched raid it could have been… but Mr. B. Hussein O. did claim it a victory for the U.S… even though by all accounts, we executed a muslim terrorist celebrity on his home turf from under neath his greatest benefactors. No one will be made. Everyone is happy! So celebrate in the streets! We did it! Yay!

      • John Silver says:

So, no one have ever heard of stun grenades and Tasers?
        Right.

  3. Rick K says:

When bad things happen to bad people that’s a good thing.

The only good thing 0bama did in this whole thing was stay out of it!

  4. Mike Davis says:

Ignorance! Because if they had done it and kept quiet the threat was gone with no Martyr! In the rush for public accolades we made an idol for others to worship!

  5. Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

And he single-handedly waterboarded detainees at Guantanamo to get the information. He always was so for that. Oh, wait………

  6. Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

When it’s bad it’s Bush’s fault. When it’s good give Barrack Obama the credit. We know the drill.

  7. slimething says:

Did you say wohmans? (a little Monty Python humor).

  8. PhilJourdan says:

Well – you can say one thing now – he is no Carter (botched rescue mission of the embassy personnel).

    • Carter had to rescue 300 people. Obama just needed to kill everyone in one house, and still lost a helicopter.

      • PhilJourdan says:

There were only 52 hostages at that time. And both lost a helicopter – but I do not fault either for that since that was the operational command.

Perhaps if things had been more hostile, Obama would be Carter, but as it is, he did let his military do it, Carter did not.
