The account Carney presented differed in key respects from one that White House counterterrorism adviser John O. Brennan provided the previous day. Brennan spoke mockingly of bin Laden’s behavior, saying the al-Qaeda leader had cowered behind his wife in the lavish hideout before being shot in an intense gunfire exchange.
“He was engaged in a firefight with those that entered,” Brennan said, adding that bin Laden had been “hiding behind women who were put in front of him as a shield.”

The news media was quick to jump on how great this was planned out, what a great and wonderful decisive president we have….
…and with each passing minute, it’s falling apart.
It would have been enough for me if the administration had simply stated UBL is no longer alive. Showed pictures of his lifeless body and left it at that. But nooooooo, they’ve got to come up with this great invention of facts that don’t stand up to the light of day. What should have been a unifying event for this nation, has become yet another event which demonstrates this administrations inability to be truthful with its citizens.

Either they watched a video that showed the events or they didn’t. Why mislead and fabricate? I don’t give a flying …… if he was armed or not. But don’t lie about it. All they had to say, was that he’s gone.

The Obama administration are so desperate to make score some political points off this that they blew it and now the people are skeptical about anything they report. How about some humility and credit the people who put their lives on the line to whack Osama. I hope the taking out Osama saga doesn’t end up in the same conspiracy category as the moon landing and 9/11.
Well…. I still am not get too bent out of shape. I expect the Obama administration have a hard time telling the truth. Besides… Obama lied, Osama died… is a win win as far as I am concerned…. Heh
