1947 Was Worse Than We Thought : The Whole World Will Drown!

Then they discovered plate tectonics. Maybe one day AGW will discover the sun.
Nothing ever changes, except for the date on the newspaper.
Only 650 feet of sea level rise and erosion is wasting away the land surfaces. Soon the globe will be a shallow sea once again.
I cut away a portion of a hill side in my front yard and now I see shale that was laid, as part of the ocean floor, before the Appalachian mountains were formed 650 million years ago, after which they were taller than the current Himalayas. Erosion is a constant thing here as the mountains are a lot lower now than they once were with most of the material from here going to form the Mississippi Delta region.
There is a lot to be concerned about with the earth doing what it has done for Billions of years. I probably will not even have a mountain left on my property in a couple of hundred million years. Whatever will I do then. I will not have a mountain to climb up and down. Maybe FEMA will come to my rescue!
