David Appell says that I am responsible for the 2012 drought, but my great-grandfather caused this one in 1893
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

No. Appell believes your evil is so great, it is now devastating the Earth’s past.
Well, you know, ‘Greater than exponential’ increases in CO2, require tachyons. And tachyons can travel backward in time…
Tachyons are made when two or more AGW proponents begin communicating.
Obviously your great-grandfather was a real bastard. π
You are obviously using Einstein’s special theory of relatives (they’re all bastards).
Mr Goddard, I must sincerely commend you on your humour with the alarmists. It helps drive out the despair that they peddle.
But the droughtflood this year was UNPRECEDENTED and the worst EVER (sarc).
Where (exactly) did I say you were responsible for a drought?
Stop lying, liar.
He’s back! π
What exactly is a climate crime, David?
Where (exactly) did I say you were responsible for a drought?
Stop lying, liar.
Denial of Gaia = confused public = lack of action on catastrophic global warming = climate crime
so i am responsible for the drought
Where exactly did I say Steve Goddard was responsible for a drought?
Stop lying, liar.
> so i am responsible for the drought
Liar.
First what is a climate crime, and what climate crime is steven guilty of?
“so i am responsible for the drought”
It’s a family curse.
Where exactly did I say Steve Goddard was responsible for a drought?
Stop lying, liar.
Are you off your meds?
Again, what is a climate crime, and what climate crime is steven guilty of?
Where exactly did I say you were responsible for a drought?
Stop lying, liar.
If you are going to accuse me of a climate crime, I want to know which weather event I am responsible for. Perhaps the pleasant day we had in Colorado today?
Me: When you have the balls to sign your name to your posts, let me know.
Really, you don’t want to answer it?
Why don’t you want to answer it?
Me guesses there are Three others that would like an answer to that too.
You said I said you were responsible for a drought. Where did I say that?
For once, just answer a question instead of perpetually deflecting….
David, you made an absolutely idiotic post on your blog, and frankly I don’t see how anyone can take you seriously any more.
Me: When you have the cojones to sign your name to your posts, let me know.
Did you see your rant? Or is it that wasn’t you?
You wrote that I said you were responsible for a drought.
Where did I say that?
But you said I was responsible for the climate.
Back to the same. Why is that? and why did you make your first comment here as sthelensoregon? Was it so no one would know?
> But you said I was responsible for the climate.
Where did I say that?
Look, nutcase. You are the one who accused me of a climate crime. You don’t even know what crime it is that you are accusing me of. What a joke.
Lol, David, are you on about semantics or are you playing coy? “Are they? Are Anthony Watts and Marc Morano and Tom Nelson and Steve Goddard smart enough to be guilty of climate crimes?” …… I think they’re crimes will be obvious in about a decade.
…….. But on the shoulders of these idiots, fools, and incoherent minds our future seems to turn, if only just a bit, if only in the blogosphere. And they are probably proud of this, somehow.
David, given that your rant was about climate, you seem to be stating that our certain impending doom, “our future turns” on the people you listed, it would appear to me that you’re blaming some future climategeddon on Anthony Watts and Marc Morano and Tom Nelson and Steve Goddard. Or are you positing that their advocacy doesn’t effect the climate and our future is tied to them in some other not-yet-articulated manner?
Further, typically when someone references “crimes” they are alleging harm of some sort. If it isn’t climate, what harm are you laying at the feet of Goddard and others?
Or, was your rant, as I have postulated, was simply some drug induced barely coherent ramble you wished you hadn’t written?
Nutcase: Your crime is not causing the climate. Can you understand that, at least?
So I don’t control the climate, what is my crime?
BTW – have you ever heard of the first amendment? Perhaps they didn’t teach you about that at the ASU creative writing school.
The First Amendment is about freedom of speech. I suspect DA is trying to outlaw freedom of thought instead.
“Lol, David, are you on about semantics or are you playing coy?”
When Warmists shoot themselves in the foot, their ‘rebuttal’ always comes down to semantics…
And in another bizarre comment from David, I note that he thinks a person who doesn’t post under his real name is a low life (or something) ? Yet he is happy to cite a dubious paper by Foster et al., who otherwise posts 99.9% of his diatribes under the pseudonym ‘Tamino’. I wonder if he therefore finds Tamino contemptible or are two different standards operating here?
Why don’t you be the original sepuku martyr for the climate appell? I think it’s the best thing you can do for gaia. Your efforts here are amazingly counter-productive for your cause.
“Nutcase: Your crime is not causing the climate. Can you understand that, at least?”
It is David, because you accuse him of preventing action on climate change. E.g., action on climate change necessitates changing the climate via CO2 reduction, etc. Otherwise nobody would bother down that path.
Now, when Steve refers to *past* weather events, he is being what we humans call ‘sarcastic’. Get it?
Elementary logic is not really your core strength is it? π
Yeh, hey, I post when drunk sometimes. And sometimes I post things I wish I hadn’t put in black and white. Though, I don’t recall writing about someone I interact with on occasion and call them criminals because they disagree with me.
π
Sarcasm is not a mental concept in the language of the Naβvi, hence David’s confusion over literal interpretations.
There is an important aspect that completely escapes the Appells of this world.
Imagine if we could attribute specific weather events to increases in CO2. But in that case, we could likewise attribute specific weather events to decreases in CO2.
This means that if the attribution problem were solved, and a program put in place to decrease the amount of CO2 in the air, conceivably the victims of weather events due to decreases in CO2 could pretend redress from those responsible for that program.
Attribution, in other words, would lead to war.
Little point in speculating down this bizarre path. It’s like arguing how many angels dance on the head of a pin when you should be dubious about the angels being there in the first place.
Exactly. I used to often ask, if we did find the mechanism which causes weather/climatic events, who gets to chose?
