I love reading comments from alarmists who imagine that they know what they are talking about.

Climate-change deniers deny human role in global warming

In other words, the Earth’s temperature regularly varies by 8C, and CO2 has nothing to do with it.

Ever hear of volcanism, Milankovitch cycles, axial tilt, etc that were drivers of PAST climate change?

    • Natural variability in 10 times larger than the claimed human signal. Only a moron would attempt to draw conclusions from a S/N ratio of 0.1. What does that make you?

      • Ben says:

Doomed. A person who reaches conclusions based on signal trends from decades…not too long…not too short…careful now! You’ll ruin the cake! No time to learn from history, too busy repeating it.

      • Drewski says:

Point me to a paper that defines the drivers of NV and their relative contributions to climate variability and I will review it. But in the meantime, most atmospheric scientists say that CO2 contributes approximately to 15% to the greenhouse gas warming or between 3 to 5C. An increase of 40% of this gas through man-made actions coupled with wholesale destruction of carbon sinks would lead a reasonable person to conclude that we are seriously fucking up our climate.

  2. Rosco says:

If CO2 “traps” radiation thus increasing temperatures we have the interesting paradox of something heating itself up by radiating less – that is by cooling.

This phenomenum has never been demonstrated and until it is catagorically shown to be plausible we should all be sceptical of the “greenhouse effect”.

Climate science is based on the non-reality that the Sun shines 24 hours a day at one-quarter power and supplies insufficient energy to heat the Earth to more than minus 18 C.

That is simply wrong – averages mean nothing.

  3. Andy DC says:

This massive propaganda offensive by the green crowd following Sandy, plus the love fest with Christie and Obama probably decided the election. What a bad break for the USA! But the unwillingness of the Republicans to compromise on the budget was a self inflicted wound. Even Reagan would compromise. Fair or unfair, the label on the Republicans as obstructionist carried some weight.

I love his statement that now CO2 is clearly leading temperature. It works so well, rising while the temperature is doing nothing or even cooling? Yep, it’s got to be the cause. Is he in Colorado on a Rocky Mountain high?

  5. Wyguy says:

What budget, there was no budget to compromise, Had the Democrats produced a budget then compromise might have happened.

  6. Jimmy Haigh says:

Here’s a post I made on Facebook the other day. I’ve had a couple of positive responses so far.

How about a coordinated worldwide party – fueled by carbonated alcoholic beverages – for all ‘climate deniers’ as soon as atmospheric CO2 goes above 400ppm?

    They are brilliant!
