I’m not diminishing paedophilia or the effects on victims it is just that a commission of enquiry has been done before and seems to only provide a forum for victims to publicly express their (righteous) indignation. If it achieves a cathartic purpose for some victims I hope it works for them.
But I am convinced it is a cynical manipulation by the most cynical and dishonest politician I have known in my life – Gillard the Aussie PM.
For the record I have never voted for any political party except the ALP ( Gillard’s party) but that changed the minute she became the most blatantly deceitful self serving leader I have observed.
