Is The Post, in its endorsements, more left than right of center? Yes. But that doesn’t make it an arm of any party or faction.

Even the ombudsman of the Washington Post (Pexton) admitted in a Nov 4 editorial that the Post has “left leaning” endorsements, but defended them as mild and driven by the staff’s principles. The very next article was a scathing attack on Romney for his “contempt for voters.” Such hypocrisy is hard to take. My only meaningful response was to CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION, and I did. But that’s a tiny blow to the big, but teetering, WP. However, if thousands of readers who are simply feed-up with this excessive imbalance in reporting and editorializing do the same thing, for the same reason, it just might help to bring them to a more balanced approach. Let’s give it a try….
