On September 14, CIA Director Petraeus lied to Congress about Benghazi, saying that it was a “spontaneous demonstration.”
He was scheduled to testify again next week, and suddenly resigned today over an “affair.” Now the White House says that he won’t testify next week. Does Obama actually think we are that stupid?
This Benghazi affair is probably the most disgusting and transparent presidential cover up in history, and the press just gives the scumbag in chief a free pass.

His resignation will not prevent his testimony on Benghazi.
I am curious, though, how long Obama knew of this affair.
One question I would ask Gen. Petraeus is if anyone tried to blackmail him, including the Obama administration, who stood to gain from what little he said about Benghazi before the election.

Oddly enough Gillard has had numerous affairs with married men, some of them government ministers and was made prime minister of Australia. The media refuses to mention this because she is a socialist so 99% of the public are unaware of this. Had she been a conservative however, the media would have examined every detail under a microscope…
Yeah, she is done like like last years thanks giving turkey. And she done it all with the help of the people she surounded herself with and ultimately herself since she is the decider of what happens there. The only thing is she knows it and is still moving on with this, so she and her cronies will wear it to the end.

This General Dave used to sermonize about what happens when you fraternize and the repercussions of the UCMJ. And all the while he’s banging his biographer, says the FBI.
The top general, our top international spy, and he strikes out against the mopey dopey farm team. The FBI shuts down Mighty Casey. Don’t you think that’s a way more history-bending (and US-damaging) event than some attorney’s yurt burning down in BF Libya? No disrespect meant to Ambassador Stevens or his family; I have a loved one who is a diplomat, and I know of many places in the world where she’s suffered similar threats. One of these places had her working arm-in-arm, coincidentally, with General Petraeus. This is the job, and one for which she’d gladly lay down her life tomorrow, just like Chris Stevens. Fall on her sword? Never.
So the secret service aren’t trained to take one for the prez if necessary and if they can get themselves in harms way if possible so the big guy don’t bite it? Yet not in this case?
