  1. I. Lou Minotti says:

Would we ever be so foolish to think that Ehrlich’s protégé and Obama’s “science czar” John Holdren adopted these same Malthusian ideas? Just wondering.

  2. jimash1 says:

Herr Erlich truly missed his calling by several years and a few thousand miles.

    • One would think that a person of Jewish descent might know better than to support the idea of poisoning people they don’t want to reproduce.

      • Gina says:

You would, wouldn’t you? Of course this isn’t the only time someone of Jewish descent favored eugenics: the Israeli government gave Ethiopian immigrant women Norplant injections and without their consent or even knowledge, pretending that they were giving them vaccinations.

      Oooh ( Oy)
Didn’t mean to stir up the latent anti-semites.
Next time I will keep my sarcastic comments to myself.

      • This has nothing to do with anti-Semitism. it has to do with stupidity. People like Ehrlich, Bloomberg and Feinstein should know their own history, and not attempt to repeat it.

      • jimash1 says:

Sorry again, didn’t mean you Steve.
        Yes, I agree with you.
They should be more self aware by a whole lot.

  3. Andy Oz says:

Ehrlich wanted to poison people, and these Cornell guys would prefer you northerners all froze to death without fossil fuels. I really don’t get it. Are they all finally coming down from the LSD they took at uni in the 60’s or are they just bordering insane? Billions of northern hemisphere people would die without fossil fuels, including natural gas.

    • I. Lou Minotti says:

Andy, spend a few bucks for Robert Zubrin’s “Merchants of Despair: Radical Environmentalists, Criminal Pseudo-Scientists, and the Fatal Cult of Antihumanism,” (New York: New Atlantis, 2012). You’ll finally “get it”–that’s if you want to believe it. See also Romans 1:25 in the NT. It all fits.

      • Andy Oz says:

Thanks Lou, I’ll look the Zubrin book up. I have heard of it. In fact it likely fits well with the current Crisis period as described in Strauss and Howes: The Fourth Turning.
        Cheers
