No one below the age of 30 today knows what the Scientific Method is unless they were taught by their parents! They have been exposed to the Pseudo Scientific methods since they were born.
This 18 year pattern means nothing. The only 18 year pattern to mean anything was the period from 1980-1998, the only period of the last 72 years to show appreciable warming. The other 54 years showing no warming do not fit the peer reviewed settled science and thus do not count.
