Five Years Later, Hansen Proves Again That He Is An idiot

Hansen (et al) must read: Get back to 350 ppm or risk an ice-free planet | ThinkProgress

Five years later we are up to almost 400 ppm, and Antarctic sea ice has steadily increased to record levels.

Hansen talks constantly and has absolutely no idea what he is talking about, which makes him a perfect advisor to the Obama White House.

It is more pleasant to envision a Joe Romm-free planet.

And we had much higher CO2 levels in the late Ordovician, this guy is worse than Baghdad Bob.

  3. The advocacy stuff is stupid. But I guess he can’t back down now on his apocalyptic vision. Elrich is still waiting for food rationing. (Any day now apparently.) Meanwhile on the radio I was listening to complaints from Australian food producers that they are starting to get major competition from India and parts of the old Soviet Union.

Yes! Somebody nominate him to a Cabinet level position, so that his finances can be aired before the public in Senate testimony.

He lied about it to his employer. Would he lie about it in Senate testimony?

Chavez dead! The socialist leader appears to have amassed about 2 billion dollars of ‘shared wealth’. 😉

If only he could be correct with the “Get back to 350 ppm or risk an ice-free planet”. Currently I would go with that if that meant it was warmer.
But unfortunately Hansenized data records and scary talk from the great idiot himself does not make such things it so.

  7. Jimmy Haigh says:

How about a worldwide “global warming” piss up – carbonated beverages only – on the dayCO2 breaks the 400 barrier?

  8. Ivan says:

Mind you, he had plenty of company:
‘World has 6 years to act’ on climate change
The Government’s chief scientist wants the country to set the toughest possible targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, warning that action must begin now against climate change.
Professor Sackett has also warned the world only has six years to decrease its emissions to avoid damaging climate change.”
