Sandy Hook and Aurora were made possible by gun-free zones, but the real winner was banning pilots from carrying guns – several months before 9/11/2001.
These small gun-free zones allowed a dozen men with box cutters to create chaos and endless war, and convince Americans to give up their freedom and Constitutional rights.
Thanks to gun-free zones, the US is one executive order away from tyranny at any given moment.
I heard a high school teacher say that they now have school shooting drills. The drills consist of the teacher trying to talk the shooter out of it as the kids attempt to run away. Far more effective than trying to defend yourself. (sarc)
If a potential shooter knew that someone with a rifle was ready to defend the kids inside the school, he would never enter the school and the shooting would never happen.
