The tea party didn’t exist while Bush was President, but Obama says that Bush did it.
Obama is blaming Bush and his choice of IRS leadership through Jay Carney:
“Two things need to be noted; which is the IRS is an independent enforcement agency. Which I believe, as I understand it contains only two political appointees within it. The individual who was running the IRS at the time was actually an appointee from the previous administration.”

In Obama’s world – when government employees get caught committing treason and other felonies, all they have to is lie about it for a few months – and then issue an apology.

Bush appointee, DEMOCRAT supporter. Bush appointed a number of democrats to office.
I should also add that Bush’s failure to appoint conservatives was part of the reason his presidency was not a success. Many of those democrats he either appointed or retained, stabbed him in the back later.
Yeah, I’ve seen the liberal blogs engaging in this ‘Bush’s fault’ rhetoric already. You see, we can not reach nirvana and a perfect society until every person in the executive branch and judicial branch and legislative branch is a committed communist appointed by Obama. Only after we reach that ideological purity will there be no more bad decisions made.
