The Stupid is strong in Beckwith, very strong.
He seems to want to prove he is dumber than Serreze, despite how really, really stupid that is.
It’s getting hard not to notice The Big Chill, up there. I’ve been fooled before by blips in the data, but this really does seem like a summer more like 2006 than recent ones. It was down to minus 2.7 by Camera Two, at the “North Pole Camera,” yesterday, and at that temperature the salt water refreezes. The temperature did rise back up to minus 0.5, but I don’t expect to see “Lake North Pole” reappear, if it doesn’t even thaw. It may spoil my hobby of sitting around watching ice melt.

I dare anyone to listen to Ella Fitzgerald and not feel better about life.
