Just look at this administration and many in the liberal left. There is mutual admiration between powerful government figures and elite academics that goes way beyond climate science. We are in an era of credentialism. I don’t think either the power brokers in government or academia is remotely aware of how suspicious ordinary folks are this relationship or how resentful they are of it.
Amazing that the hippies of the 1960’s who told us not to trust anyone over 30 and not to trust the government, are now the danger they warned of.

I can never believe anyone who hides behind a pseudonym . The world is in a mess because so many self professed intelligent people have , and are, telling lies . Many of those people continue to act on the theory that , ‘If you tell a lie often enough , many people will believe it .’
