     On the chance that it’s the “other” meaning that was intended, I feel it necessary to state that most Floridians are nothing like that. In fact I’d guess there are at least 5-6 million who’d be just appalled by this, and probably another 7 or 8 mil. who, while less than appalled, would consider it extremely inappropriate.

   Any time you hear a strange and/or ridiculous news story (e.g., shootings, drug-crazed cannibals, escaped animals, butterfly ballots, etc.), chances are pretty good it happened in Florida. Fark gave up and gave Florida its own category; there’s just no other way to describe this stuff.
