By mid-August, almost all the melt is from underneath. But there is very little warm water this year, except for in the Chukchi Sea.

What alarmists didn’t want to think about was that last year’s August storm pulled a lot of heat out of the water, and this year is payback time for their gloating last year.

    Odd that the same bunch of people who claim we are running out of fresh water, want it locked up in glaciers and ice caps, and then claim victory when those melt!
