    (OT, but I see even in 1908 Americans were confusing “that” with “than”!)

    I was watching the national radar map last night and witnessed St Louis’ UHI effect turn a snowfall into freezing rain. Light blue mass, with a pink bubble in the middle extending far beyond city limits. Obviously NOAA and NASA will need to adjust last night’s temperatures upward to compensate for this.
