MANY scientists are so sure that the sea level will rise visibly in the coming decades that they are advising planners to adopt new strategies now. A predicted rise in sea level of one foot within the next 30 to 40 years will drive much of the Atlantic and Gulf shoreline inward by a hundred feet and some of it by more than a thousand feet, according to marine geologists.

    They’ve been recycling the same doom and gloom regularly. They always put the catastrophic sea level rise 30-70 years in the future. I predict that in and around Cape Lookout, NC, the sea level will rise ~4′ every 12 hours around April Fools Day.

    Why has the world taken so long to catch up?
    Obviously 99% of the world was in denial back then.
