To be fair Bush wasn’t that hot. Invading Iraq on bogus grounds and therefore also at the same time reducing one of the blocks against the influence of Iran.
Andy
What about Kennedy and his “Bay of Pigs” ?
Bush had perfectly good evidence from Iraqi leaders that the gas weapons were there. In addition, they had obviously been used to kill thousands of Kurds. It is obvious that a lot of the stuff made it to Syria. Also, Saddam should have known better than to bluff the U.S. administration so soon after 9/11.
Bush’s “wasn’t that hot” moment was when he kept troops in the country after blowing the hell out of it. Then he did the same thing in Afghanistan. Progressives always think they have to bring their brand of democracy to other countries. He should have made it clear that if they messed with us again we would be back to take them back to the stone age, then left. Some times there is the need to be blunt in foreign policy.
But why did the US actually vote for Obama – and twice. He got the Nobel Prize only because the sanctimonious Scandinavians like a leftie and loathed Bush.
Also in the news today…

Given his proclivities, I’m rather glad that zero is incompetent.
Misdirection for the rabble.
Zero’s policy is the same as Bush’s policy, which is the policy of the Anglo-American Empire.
And it has been proceeding apace…all across Africa the Russians and Chinese have lost business contracts and access to raw materials, following invasion by us or our proxies….across Eurasia numerous states outside or potentially outside the Anglo-American financial system have been or are being destroyed.
Keep fighting amongst yourselves while the Elite use us to destroy their enemies…which includes in the end, us.
The only difference between the current Democrat and Republican leadership is that the Republicans want to run the world with the U.S. on top and the Democrats want to hand it all to the U.N. to accomplish the same thing. Neither side gives a damn about the poor or the non-working working class.
