No easy way to say this, but this really, really pisses me off!! Somebody needs to see a judge, fast!
With GISS estimating temps up to 1200 kilometres from weather stations around the world i would imagine it is very easy to slowly salaami the temps upwards fractions of a degree at a time.
Thank goodness for the internet that can now call them out their dodgy data.

For those who want an image of the Spirit of the Universe or God, the neutron core of each star is like a nucleus in each living cell of the Universe.
Apart from the obvious fraud, perhaps this was done to fit the past to climate model hindcasts.

Or the heat must be “hidden” somewhere without reliable older datasets which could be used to refute the hypothesis.
If the hypothesis can’t be refuted, it’s not scientific.
That’s so 19th century. We know better now.
Is there a science where the raw data is adjusted after the fact? I know people will adjust their own datasets according to instrument calibrations, but who alters data that was done 10, 20, 100 years prior? How can this possibly be justified without the exact equipment used, in the same lab/area, etc.?? Are there other sciences that adjust data in this manner?
Only liars and scam artists would adjust older data. The correct method is to increase the error bars and place them on the graph.
