It Has Been All Downhill Since Day One

January 1790 was the first January when the US had a president. The US capitol was located in Philadelphia, and the US had a war hero for president. It was also the warmest January on record.

225 years later, the US has a president hell bent on destroying everything George Washington accomplished, and the US Capitol is having some of the coldest weather on record.

Government experts, paid to lie with money stolen from taxpayers, tell us that we have to give up our freedom in order to stop the country from overheating.

It is now ranging between 7.0 °F and 10 °F in the D.C. area at 3:45 AM. In mid NC it is 20°F — BRRRrrr.

With luck the forecast is too conservative and DC gets two to three feet of snow. Make the politicians apreciate what Buffalo and New England have been going through.

Hard to believe that the Federalists once thought a Bill of Rights was unnecessary because it would only set on paper liberties they felt were so self evident they did not need to be explained and secured in law.

It was similar in Australia. Summer of 1790/91 in the First Fleet Journals showed incredible heat waves and birds died in huge numbers around the new settlement.

If the same thing happened today the screams of “unprecedented global warming” would be deafening.

There was one bright spot, repealing the 18th amendment.

Nick Stokes claims…”Here is the effect of GHCN adjustment on the global average trend from past years.” Anyone know if this is accurate.

I say this because even the remaining urban stations undergo UHI affect, and anther .1 adjustment to the data set would make an almost perfect match to RSS.

Here in the Haldimand and Norfolk county areas of southern Ontario this morning it’s in the minus 30s C, shattering all records. Come help us before we all die. Joking aside, our provincial government is planning to hit us with a carbon tax to stop global warming.

    • Gail Combs says:

Sounds like today is a good time to start raising the cry about an unjustified tax.

      • norilsk says:

God willing I will be going before a government committee to tell them what they can do with it. Two years since they ended the use of coal to make electricity; two years we’ve had the brutal winters. Last year we had 12 days in January and February in the minus 20s C. This is not normal.

        • Gail Combs says:

I am in mid North Carolina and they are predicting ZERO°F (-18 °C) for Thrusday night!

I am out most of today making sure all of our water tanks are filled to the brim and all the livestock is under cover since we have wind, freezing rain, sleet and ice pellets due in an hour or so. With luck we will not lose the electric for too long.

I just posted Mosher’s comments about Steven from that story at WUWT so readers can see exactly what is being smeared as WUWT continues its dark arts stuff pretending to be ‘neutral’ when they are actually the opposite as increasing numbers of commenters there notice more and more.

Steven is definitely not going to be treated fairly at all, he is being demonized by that group running that site that is ‘mainstream’ but is actually delusional as any others.

It is just amazing to see how they try their damnest to make fun of this site’s hard research.

  9. emsnews says:

Oops, forgot, the post showing Mosher’s attack on Steven is in the previous story, ‘The new boss is same as old boss’ above.
