Arctic Sea Ice Rapidly Recovering

The extent of Arctic sea ice has returned to stable 2005/2006 levels

The animation below flashes between 2006 and 2015. Unless there is another summer with strong southerly winds like in 2007, the amount of thick multi-year ice will be back to 2006 levels in a year or two, as the ice age increases.

    In the story they report some ice is 8 feet thick. Ice is still around.
