The ladies were obviously “progressive muslims” as I could see the ankles of the lady in pink on the left. That is a first. I had never heard “censorship” called “good manners” before.
Ironically in 1967 (see picture above) the theatre was still censored by the Lord Chamberlain, who was very well mannered, but the “progressive” government of Harold Wilson applying his “white heat of technology” abolished this function allowing (the day after) the first London performance of “Hair”. A great show and |I still have the original (broadway) cast LP.

Many Brits birth shout it every day too (not me). but you need to understand that it is understood that the queen is really only a living metaphor for the reason Brits support the state…..or so we’re told.
Ever since there was a royal family there has been healthy objection to the existence of royals and the institution. Many of those left to run away to the US….the hardcore stayed and do their best to this day.
I don’t recall the last time I thought about the queen…..I suppose it must have been at Christmas when she comes on TV to deliver an annual speech……and i don’t remember the last time I heard anyone talking about the royals, unprovoked, usually it is only in response to stupid newspaper articles about what they’re getting upto.

– it makes no difference to me….I know non muslims who would try to hatch a death plot if they thought they could get away with it !
