CU Fails To Stop Global Warming

The regents of the University of Colorado failed to vote to stop global warming, and were immediately punished by another overheated atmosphere blizzard

Students were very angry about this, and stepped out of their fossil fuel powered dormitory,  after taking a fossil fuel powered showers, and eating fossil fuel powered meals – to protest fossil fuels. They immediately expressed their disappointment on their fossil fuel powered phones and computers over the fossil fuel powered Internet.

CU professor Mark Williams warned in February that snow will soon be a thing of the past in Boulder.

The threat of global warming on the Colorado ski season  CU Independent

His warning was very timely, as February was the second snowiest month in Boulder history.

To date, NWS reported, the city has seen 112.6 inches of total accumulation, well above the September-to-April average of 87.5.   The discrepancy is a credit to a record-setting February, in which 54.8 inches fell. Had 2 more inches fallen that month, it would have been the snowiest month ever in Boulder’s record books, but March 1970 still holds the crown.

Our institutions of higher learning are populated by brilliant professors, creating brilliant students.

  1. You can blame them for living in fossil fuel powered dorms and using fossil fuel powered iPhones, etc. The big oil companies force them to. It’s a conspiracy theory.

Morgan, the lack of correlation between what alarmists say and what they do is stunning. I know a couple that is so worried about CAGW that the wife began to cry when I refused (politely) to agree with them about the subject. How do they spend vacations? They have a big RV that they drive all over the country and sight see.

The children should “divest” themselves from tax payer monies used for the University.

    • I wonder if CU Professor Mark Williams feels any embarrassment or shame at all?? I wonder if ANYONE has called him out on his prediction??

Meanwhile: “Students were very angry about this, and stepped out of their fossil fuel powered dormitory, after taking a fossil fuel powered showers, and eating fossil fuel powered meals – to protest fossil fuels. They immediately expressed their disappointment on their fossil fuel powered phones and computers over the fossil fuel powered Internet.”

Hilarious were it not truly sad, pathetic…

I wonder how many of those students will quit CU in protest?

i haven’t vetted the chart but in general, real money managers that manage real money and get fired when they lose real money; don’t make stupid choices that lose money.
Advocate/green investors pick the pet stocks, buy it first then sell it to the useful idiots. Oldest trick in the stock market book. Pump-n-dump.
BTW i came across the Copenhagen Consensus Center thanks to a post on this site. What a breath of fresh air.

Although Lomborg and I totally disagree over man made climate change, I admire him greatly, because he knows how to reason, and isn’t advocating for the deaths of millions each year.

perhaps it was you who provided the link, so thank you. The logic is very sound. The problem is that half of his audience thinks BUDGET is a four letter word.
I don’t have a dog in the fight on most of the issues, but i agree with the prioritiztion thought process.

About 18 inches on the ground in the People’s Republic of Boulder as we speak and more on the way. Up to 48 inches will accumulate to west of Ft. Collins before the storm subsides.

    • Unfortunately I have only incomplete data from my last 3 decades in Boulder but it seems there is a stronger correlation between me switching to summer tires and heavy snowstorms within 2-3 days after, than the officially claimed one between CO2 levels and global temperatures.

A major uncertainty was introduced recently by a good friend who claims it is his switching to summer tires that causes the snowstorms. We are now researching the phenomena together.

I don’t know who is causing the snowstorms in Fort Collins. I wonder if Tony knows the guy.

I liked the fact that Professor Williams absolutely guaranteed something 100 years in the future. What a light weight.
Do they hand out professorships there for 2 boxtops and 50 cents??

Here we have a anti carbon alarmist loon talking about the refuted Peak Oil nonsense. He also is pretty much “peak” everything. The best part of his youtube is when he lists all of the beneficial things we derive from carbon based fuels. Like the electric lights burning behind him, the synthetic clothes he wears or the nice heated building or the carbon based electricity he uses to promote his luddite claptrap and refuted alarmist “climate change” talking points.
