  1. Psalmon says:

Maybe if he makes a claim of gang rape in prison, Rolling Stone will put him back on the cover.

    • They would do that but only if he were raped there by the reactionary patriarchal racist jingoistic misogynist homophobic xenophobic radical christianist members of the ruling class.

That will be hard to do now since Rolling Stone failed to send the UVA fraternity members to prison. I don’t have a clue what they are going to do. They are in a pickle.

  2. kentclizbe says:

“With the questions swirling of why two upwardly mobile young people in America could commit such acts, a good place to start would be the “educations” the two Tsarnaev brothers received.

“Younger brother Dzhokhar graduated from the celebrated Boston high school Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (CRLS). A graduate of CRLS has had years of anti-American claptrap crammed down his throat.

“The media has widely quoted retired CRLS teacher Larry Aaronson’s shocked reminiscences about Dzhokhar. Aaronson told The Boston Globe, “This is a progressive town, the People’s Republic, and how could this be in our midst?

“I’m at a loss. I’m at a total and complete loss.”

“Well, Larry might start looking at his own classroom handiwork. Aaronson is an acolyte of the raving, America-hating, deceased “revisionist historian” Howard Zinn.

“Zinn was a liberal elite darling. Zinn claimed his eyes were opened to the racist, imperialist horror that is America by writer I.F. Stone, who later was confirmed to be a KGB covert influence agent when the Iron Curtain fell and certain Soviet documents became public.

“Aaronson, who retired in 2007, used to brag to anyone who would listen that he had taught Zinn’s textbook to CLRS students since the beginning of his career in 1981.

“Aaronson also proudly related how his students at CLRS had included actor Matt Damon and Damon’s brother.

“He proudly told how the Damon boys were taken with the anti-American history of Zinn.
Larry, in an homage to Zinn upon his death in 2008, started with this quote from the movie “Good Will Hunting,” quoting Matt Damon, “You wanna read a really good American history book? Read Howard Zinn’s ‘A People’s History of the United States.’ It will knock your socks off.”

“If you don’t know Zinn’s handiwork, here’s a sample of his writing in The Progressive. Zinn’s contempt for America and its citizens fairly drips from each word: “The deeply ingrained belief — no, not from birth but from the educational system and from our culture in general that the United States is an especially virtuous nation makes us especially vulnerable to government deception. It starts early, in the first grade, when we are compelled to ‘pledge allegiance’ (before we even know what that means), forced to proclaim that we are a nation with ‘liberty and justice for all.’

“And then come the countless ceremonies, whether at the ballpark or elsewhere, where we are expected to stand and bow our heads during the singing of the ‘Star Spangled Banner,’ announcing that we are ‘the land of the free and the home of the brave.’ There is also the unofficial national anthem ‘God Bless America,’ and you are looked on with suspicion if you ask why we would expect God to single out this one nation — just 5 percent of the world’s population — for his or her blessing.”

“Aaronson boasted that angry parents called him to say their kids were talking about “that bastard Christopher Columbus … and his genocide, and how we have to question our history books and re-examine the evidence.” The CRLS teacher continued with relish, “Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

  3. Rolling Stone is a minor bottom feeder. Progressive magazines will never be the same as in the days of glory:

  4. SMS says:

Maybe Rolling Stone should stick to writing articles about music and stay away from subjects they have no idea of what they’re talking about. Seems to me they have just made themselves Irrelevant by believing they have a profound knowledge to speak on any subject they feel the need. Usually from a very lefty viewpoint.

  5. I propose a Death Penalty in Escrow:

If someone is convicted of any crime & duly sentenced to die, anyone can sign a petition placing their own life in escrow to avoid the criminal being put to death. If at any time harm comes to another person, or any crime or infraction is committed, whether in prison or out, by the one who had been sentenced to death, anyone who signs the petition becomes responsible for that act. Thus if they escape prison, & murder someone, every person who signed the petition is sentenced to death (& cannot being escrowed). If they steal a candy bar from a cellmate, every single person who signed the petition must provide a candy bar in compensation. If they are pardoned by some imbecile in the governor’s mansion or the White House, & after being freed they are caught speeding, every single person who signed that petition must pay the speeding fine & have points on their record. If they rape someone, every person who signed the petition is responsible for that rape, & must serve whatever sentence is imposed. The existence of such a body of petitioners, & the persons on the list may not influence the sentencing of the criminal in any way.

Notice that it’s ALWAYS somebody elses fault when a scumbag acts like a scumbag. That is unless your a Christian. I and so many others have the means and the training and have never ever once in our lives ever considered murdering for the sake of some religion or movement or money or anything else. But some troll blows up people for no good reason and it’s because someone else didn’t do what they were supposed to. THAT is the progressive way. Excuses for everyone but a Conservative or any of those that “cling to their bibles and guns”.

Personal responsibility ain’t quite what it used to be.

    • gator69 says:

The difference is in the founders, and the followers.

Christ was a man of peace, whose message was to love one another, with zero caveats.

Mohammad was a warlord whose message was submit or die, with the one caveat of dhimmitude.

      • Robertv says:

‘Ironically, both the IPCC and the Pope fail to recognize the proven dynamics of the Demographic Transition. This theory basically shows that population decreases naturally when industrial economic development is allowed. The key is it must be allowed without interference from government or the church as this author explains.

As with all models, the demographic transition model has its problems. The model does not provide “guidelines” as to how long it takes a country to get from Stage I to III. Western European countries took centuries though some rapidly developing countries like the Economic Tigers are transforming in mere decades. The model also does not predict that all countries will reach Stage III and have stable low birth and death rates. There are factors such as religion that keep some countries’ birth rate from dropping.

The good news is, most Catholics are not listening. In Catholic countries, the population rate has declined considerably. Reportedly, the best measure is the Total Fertility Rate (TFR), the expected number of children born per woman in her child-bearing years.

Taken globally, the total fertility rate at replacement is 2.33 children per woman. At this rate, global population growth would tend towards zero.

        Fertility rates for four predominantly catholic countries are;

        Poland – 1.41
        Hungary – 1.41
        Italy – 1.48
        France – 1.98

But the Pope doesn’t need to worry; Italy, France, and other European nations are offsetting the decline with Muslim immigrants with higher TFRs. ‘

That cover makes me feel like a rape victim. Maybe I should call them with a story.

    OT:
I was reading an MSDS/SDS form for a material that I use at work. The BHO environmental wackos have these companies listing CO2 as an Hazardous Decomposition material. Will the lunacy ever end?

This guy, Frank Girardot, with a straight face is touting “Rolling Stone” as a premiere outlet for journalism even in the wake of the UVA rape yarn.

    • Mike D says:

What protective equipment do they list for protection from the CO2? I literally have mini CO2 production going on every day on my stove, and I’m a bit freaked that I take no precautions.

  9. Hope Forcheese says:

Islamic immigrants, from a regional hotbed of terrorism, come to our country and get on welfare before they kill us. Seems like a great policy. (I am talking about the Tsarnev family, not some other Islamic immigrant.)
This country has been taking crazy pills for a while now. We borrow money from China to pay Gavin lie about the temperature record!

    The Hope Forcheese pledge:
“I will vote for any candidate from any party who calls out global warming as a hoax. I will give money to any candidate who pledges to cut funding for NCDC, NOAA and GISS. I will volunteer my time to the candidate who promises to prosecute any government employee committing scientific fraud.”

  10. Menicholas says:

Guilty on all counts. 17 of them carry the possibility of the death penalty.
Anyone want to give any odds on his not getting the death penalty?

  11. bleakhouses says:

Did no one notice the Arctic Ice Melt story on the cover? Were you all mesmerized by the rags cover photo art work, like the rest of the world originally was?

  12. B says:

Consider for a moment that the same government that gives us the climate change narrative so we will sacrifice and obey also gives us the terrorism narrative so we will sacrifice and obey. If we know that one is fake what are the odds of the other being true?

    • That’s horrible. I don’t even want to think about it. Did they use lubricants when they gave you the terror narrative?

    • Tim Groves says:

One difference between the climate change and terror narratives is that with climate change, we can know with reasonable certainty that governments and international institutions are scamming us based on our own scientific knowledge and on the IPPC’s claim of 95% certainty while ignoring natural changes and a long string of failed past predictions, based on the Hockey Stick fiasco and the impossibility of computer modeling climate, on the inconvenient fact that average global temperature hasn’t changed significantly in over two decades and may even have declined over the last ten years while atmospheric CO2 continued to climb relentlessly, and on the work of Steve among others.

With the terrorism narrative, we can suppose all we like, and pick a side we like, and be suspicious or trusting of the government if we like, but I don’t think we can know for certain based on the evidence available to us. For instance, there is a claim that Boston was a drill that went live. If you check you can find videos where you can hear an announcement “this is a drill” that was supposedly given by the authorities just before the blast, “proving” it was a false flag event. But video soundtracks can be edited, and terrorists can strike at events where official drills are being held, and people on all sides can give out misinformation.

So I for one have no opinion about what happened in Boston, but I’m confident that CAGW is a scam. What else could it possibly be?

      • rah says:

Well I guess you watch what they do and pay little attention to what they say. And what are they doing now? “US aerospace command moving comms gear back to Cold War bunker” http://news.yahoo.com/us-aerospace-command-moving-comms-gear-back-cold-015320113.html

So the presidents foreign policy has been so effective that the military must move back into cold war era passive defenses.

      • B says:

Government creates crisis in order to create fear so those who control government can take more from us and have our obedience. There are two basic fears they have used for thousands of years, climate/weather and the other. If we sacrifice and obey they will protect us from both.

Why does the US government have a foreign policy that will create blowback? Notice that it always leaves how it screws with people out of the mainstream narrative? Notice that it always leaves out how it has screwed with the data out of the mainstream narrative? Why do terror plots always end up showing some degree of FBI or CIA manipulation? Why is climate data manipulated?

We are being manipulated. It doesn’t matter if this one event was a drill gone live or some demented guy who went over the edge because he didn’t like what the federal government was doing or anything in between because the resulting thing we see in the media is just like the climate stories we see. They pick and choose things, make things up, and just generally create a narrative to scare us into submission and sacrifice.

Tangible proof. Like the Atta’s passport magically appearing out of the rubble. The tangible proof that government experts are correct with regards to any subject is just as solid as the tangible proof of climate change. It’s all government controlled data that if you don’t look too closely because you believe in it seems solid. But when you look closer you begin to see how it’s shifts like loose sand. If you have some knowledge and some ability in logic and apply it you begin to see how their science doesn’t add up. Something is happening with climate because something is always happening with climate. Something is happening with world events because something is always happening with world events. But when you begin to critically look at the data, at the images, what our dear government tells us about these things begins to not add up. The question is can you trust the perception of those events that you get from people you know lie to you?
Why would they lie with only one of the ancient methods of population control but not the other?

    • DavidS says:

You seem to be one person that is zeroing in on what is happening. The official line on the Boston bombing is as bogus as that for 911 or the global warming hype and whole lot of other false flags.

Terrorism has endless tangible proof. cAGW has no tangible proof. We’re still waiting for the first cAGW casualty or even damage to property. This kid killed and maimed double digit people himself.
