“You Can’t Have Your Own Set Of Facts”

Barack Obama lives in a world of make believe facts, which he basically pulls out from where the sun never shines. Then he tells others that his lies are the only acceptable facts.

He promised to lower health care costs by $2,500 for the typical family during his first term in office.

    Gator, I have not!!!

Also Steve, you know your title here is untrue. Our prez here as shown that you can have your own set of facts. And, if your are the prez you can dictate that everyone else have the same set of facts otherwise, you are one who denies the holocaust exists and your earth is flat, and he wants you to fall off the side of your flat earth.

I will freely admit I am a racist against hypocrites that ride around in private jets live in mansions. That revel in the benefits of living in a shack with only a candle for warmth and light.

Have you met Dr Brittney Cooper of Rutgers?

She wote a piece entitled, “The right’s made-up God: How bigots invented a white supremacist Jesus”.

Then she has some golden quotes of love thy neighbor quality…

“white, blond-haired, blue-eyed, gun-toting, Bible-quoting Jesus of the religious right is a god of their own making. I call this god, the god of white supremacy and patriarchy.”

“The Jesus I know, love, talk about and choose to retain was a radical, freedom-loving, justice-seeking, potentially queer (because he was either asexual or a priest married to a prostitute), feminist healer, unimpressed by scripture-quoters and religious law-keepers, seduced neither by power nor evil.”

I called the head of her department yesterday, according to the switchboard operator, Rutgers is getting flooded with calls. I did not even have to tell the operator her name, he knew as soon as I said ‘complaint about staff’.

If I had made even one comment like this when I worked for the bank, I would have been fired immediately. And my job had nothing to do with filling childrens minds with ideas.

I must be reading the wrong Bible. The “potentially queer, feminist, law-keeping” Jesus I know tended to be somewhat kick-ass when warranted.

          John 2:14-15 (NKJV)
14 And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the moneychangers doing business.
15 When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers’ money and overturned the tables.

  5. An Inquirer says:

It is not just that premiums have risen — it is also that deductibles and copays have skyrocketed. One can easily keep premiums down by jacking up the deductible. Obamacare has managed not only to up the premiums, but also to jack up the deductibles.

  6. nutso fasst says:

To be fair, the bill Obama signed was not the “health plan from Obama.” It was Hillary’s plan that had the individual mandate:

And Obama said he would not sign a bill that did not have a public option:

Now that Hillary has announced her candidacy, credit for guaranteeing insurance company profits at taxpayer expense should be given where it’s due.

In today’s world facts do not matter — the only thing that matters is the seriousness of the claim, as Rush constantly tells us.

Boy is this a sore subject for me. I’m so pissed. Our healthcare premiums went up 3 times since Obama was elected. We now pay more than $500 A MONTH MORE than we were paying before for a family of 4.

We buy our own plan because hubby is self-employed. Our plan is up for renewal at the end of this month and I found out we can no longer have the same plan. Our new plan will have a higher deductible, a bigger co-pay, and we will need referrals. The price hasn’t changed much, I think it’s slightly less expensive but I’m not sure. Even if we wanted a better, more expensive plan we aren’t allowed to have it, thanks to the ACA laws. If we want the same plan we currently have we would have to kick our son off the family plan and add him as an employee and it will add another $700 a month. A MONTH. Insurance is like an effing mortgage payment these days. Affordable my ass, we’re subsidizing the people that are getting cheap insurance and we’re getting screwed.

I spoke to the insurance broker today. He told me he himself had been kicked off his plan. He’s not happy either. If we get a republican president and he doesn’t get rid of this crap law I may just go ballistic.
