Obama Promised $2,500 In Healthcare Savings

Fraudster Barack Obama promised $2,500 / year in healthcare savings during his first term in office.

In an Obama administration, we’ll lower premiums by up to $2,500 for a typical family per year. And we’ll do it by investing in disease prevention, not just disease management; by investing in a paperless health care system to reduce administrative costs; and by covering every single American and making sure that they can take their health care with them if they lose their job. We’ll also reduce costs for business and their workers by picking up the tab for some of the most expensive illnesses. And we won’t do all this twenty years from now, or ten years from now. We’ll do it by the end of my first term as President of the United States.

He has of course deleted this from the (most transparent in history) White House web site, but the evidence is captured on the Web Archive.

The one promise he did keep was to kill the coal industry and make electricity prices skyrocket

Yes, he said that in 2008.
Then in 2012, he did not say a world about climate change, because he (and the democratic
presidential team) knew the electorate was getting smarter and if he did he would not get elected.
So much for honesty (as usual). Why the republican team and Mit Romney did not challenge him, is really amazing.
I think Romney was too nice to be a politician, but because of that he may been a good president.
Now we have a lying narcissist.
As can be seen in current preferences, the public is fed up with business as usual.
I do like most of the 17, but for what it is worth I most like Ben, Carly and M. Rubio. Just sayin!

It is no longer the president who gives the orders he just signs the bills as all puppets do.

Republican or Democrat won’t make a difference. They are just different wings on the same beast. You have to get rid of the beast first.

Fortunately this is not a universal truth. Your cynicism notwithstanding, there are a few honest candidates with integrity. Suggest you survey the field with an open mind. Preconceived bias is not the mark of a thoughtful person.

        • Robertv says:

Honest candidates with integrity will never get high on the ladder in politics and if by some miracle they do will be eliminated by the beast. But keep dreaming for HOPE and CHANGE we can believe in.

The same establishment that propped up the last Puppet Bush is deperately propping up Puppett Jeb. He has “raised” more money by a wide margin than anyone else except Hillary, who is the pre-selected Puppet on the Democrat side.

For whatever else you think about him, Trump has thrown a monkey wrench into the establishment machine. I don’t know if he can win, but it is a lot of fun to watch both of the anointed Puppets implode.

Thank you, Steven, for your courage as the curtain is pulled on the modern Wizard of Oz – the master of “97%-consensus science” and the teacher of almost all post-WWII Nobel Prize winners who developed Standard Models !

Last year my youngest son’s health insurance premium went up 120%. (He is self employed.)Thank you, Mr. President.

    • NancyG says:

Ours too, but that’s because your son and my family have to subsidize the people that can’t afford coverage which is now mandatory.

On top of a huge increase we lost our plan because we supposedly no longer meet the requirements and were bumped down to an HMO, which I hate because none of my doctors are in the network. Yay for better healthcare.

I hate everyone that voted for this prick.

    Too polite Drcrinum. I propose:

Facku wery mooch Mr. i’mpoorer Obamy

There is enough there to mess up filters and pun fans will be thrilled

    Known as “The Obama Rule”,
    People can be persuaded twice
    To vote for a fool!

  7. It’s funny. I think my premiums went up almost exactly $2,500. So maybe “down” was just a typo,

    Recent ice extent maps, anyone?
Wondering if Obama looked out over a sea of ice when he was there.
