Miami Beach is at about 7 feet elevation, and sea level there is rising about 12 inches per century. That gives them only 700 years to evacuate.
Sea level in Florida has been rising at a steady rate for over 100 years. The rate of rise is completely independent of atmospheric CO2 concentration, and would continue even if humans disappeared off the planet.
Climate experts believe that the eight foot tides during Monday’s full moon were caused by CO2.
This is what Miami Beach looks like this morning.
This is what Miami Beach looked like during September, 1926. Climate experts believe they can return to those good old days by simply implementing global communism.
Often these days the stupidity is so great there is nothing one can think to say. It just seems to roll on and on and on….
“Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.” – H. L. Mencken
We used to have a Republic before 1913….
Of course low and high tides effect the picture.
On most of the Florida coast, which is in fact a pristine white build up of sea shells, the pitch of the beach is very low. In some places, the horizontal distance between the reaches of low and high tide is several hundred feet.
All that makes it such a nice beach.
My prediction is Miami Beach Dwellings will be having waves passing over them in seven years!

My memory may be off in regards to the City, but if so then its an example of distinction without difference but I recall Bjorn Lomborg analyzing whether or not Miami will ever be consumed by the ocean (from whatever cause) and concluding that the value of Miami real estate (current use) is so high that it will always be cheaper to remediate any ocean encroachment than to cede the land to Gaia.
One of the amazing things about the CAGW cult is its adherent’s ability to double-think. For example, mankind is so powerful that we can completely destroy the environment and all life on Earth without even trying to do so. Simultaneously, we are so incapable of altering our environment that we cannot stop a slow rise of seawater from turning all our coastal cities into flooded ghost towns.
Amazing…. amazing that their heads do not explode….
Remember, these are generally the same people screaming about the rape epidemic in American colleges, where (allegedly) at least 1 in 4 women get raped, while insisting that their own daughters go to college. There’s just no way to argue with that level of cognitive dissonance.
Hey Ted! Yes, the double-think never stops! And their daughters? These are women who are so weak that they are raped and victimized and unable to learn without a “safe space” and a trigger warning. You know… the same women who demand the right to be Special Forces combat troops.

Bleak, by using NASA’s calculations what would be the effect?
“(4) Calculate the sea-level-rise answers by dividing the water volumes determined in #3 by the global surface-water area determined in #1, thereby spreading the effect of the ice sheet’s water throughout the expanse of the Earth’s surface-water area. The answers are:
(a) (2,343,728 cubic kilometers)/(361,132,000 square kilometers) = 0.0065 kilometers = 6.5 meters for the Greenland ice sheet;
(b) (26,384,368 cubic kilometers)/(361,132,000 square kilometers) = 0.0731 kilometers = 73.1 meters for the Antarctic ice sheet;
(c) 6.5 meters + 73.1 meters = 79.6 meters for Greenland and Antarctica together.”

So by NASA reasoning we will get meters of sea level rise, but still have the same sized ocean (361,132 Km^2), even with 70 meters of rise. No place gets drowned by the new rise, but view may be diminished with the sea wall dams. So why the worry?
Let me know when Miami is being evacuated from dangerously rising sea-levels. I understand it is hot in Miami.

Yeah the high tides have nothing to do with the moon being the closest to the earth as it has been in a long time. Time to get real science and not just agenda related bs.
