In 1999, NASA showed US temperatures falling. That didn’t meet their funding requirements , so they simply altered the data to make the cooling disappear, and turned it into warming. Straight out of Orwell.

At this stage in the buildup to Paris, you cannot be surprised at this.
Expect more, much more!
I started reading Mark Steyn’s book on Michael Mann tonight. I am really glad that I don’t have a law suit with Steyn. If Mann had done half the research on the hockey stick that Steyn did on this book the hockey stick would not be the embarrassment to climate science, it would not exist.

“Climate scientists are better prepared than ever with prediction models and data on El Nino patterns, but the impact of this El Nino in the northern hemisphere is hard to forecast because there is also an Arctic warming effect at work on the Atlantic JETSTREAM current.
‘The truth is we don’t know what will happen. Will the two patterns reinforce each other? Will they cancel each other? Are they going to act in sequence? Are they going to be regional? We really don’t know,’ said David Carlson, the director of the World Climate Research Programme.”

It is clear from the above charts that the year 1970 was a pivotal moment in climate science. (nyuk nyuk)
Due to the Internet, the media has lost a lot of power in terms of shaping opinion. People have not trusted the MSM for a long time, now they can get unfiltered truth on line.
