President Obama has agreed to let Chinese CO2 emissions continue to grow for the next 15 years.

WASHINGTON — President Xi Jinping of China will make a landmark commitment on Friday to start a national program in 2017 that will limit and put a price on greenhouse gas emissions, Obama administration officials said Thursday.

The cap-and-trade initiative builds on a deal that Mr. Obama and Mr. Xi reached last year in Beijing, where both set steep emissions-reduction targets as a precursor to the global climate accord. Mr. Obama, who has made climate change a signature issue of his presidency, announced the centerpiece of his plan this year. With his announcement on Friday, Mr. Xi will outline how he will halt the growth of China’s emissions by 2030.

In other words, Chinese CO2 emissions will continue to grow for the next 15 years, until they have reached their natural peak.

In 2008, Obama said that cap and trade would necessarily make electricity prices skyrocket, and that the poor, sick and elderly would have to pay for it.

“Under my plan of a cap-and-trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket. Even regardless of what I say about whether coal is good or bad,” he added. “Because I’m capping greenhouse gases, coal power plants, you know, natural gas, you name it — whatever the plants were, whatever the industry was, they would have to, uh, retrofit their operations. That will cost money. They will pass that money (cost) on to consumers.”

Only a  complete moron like a New York Times writer would believe that China would actually implement such a plan.

Chinese CO2 emissions have tripled over the last 15 years, and under this agreement will continue to grow for the next 15 years. By the year 2030, their CO2 emissions will be about 400% of US emissions.

So, a decade back, in 2005, the percentage was somewhere above 50%, and then it was 66% when Obama entered the White House in 2009, and it’s 75% today.

          Regardless of what the explanation is, the American people are feeling increasingly alienated from the government that supposedly represents them. If the U.S. Government is a democracy at all, it’s one whose legitimacy is increasingly being doubted by its public.

          The U.S. Government thus now faces a crisis of legitimacy.

          Was this destruction in our confidence in the US government carefully orchestrated in preparation for takeover? For the final destruction of our Constitutional Republic (whats left of it.)
