Two years ago, climate fraudsters had a field day when Typhoon Haiyan struck Tacloban and killed 5,000 people. They claimed it was the most powerful cyclone ever, with 200 MPH winds. PBS of course was front and center of the fraud.
The actual wind speeds were nowhere near 200 MPH, and there have been many stronger typhoons in the Philippines since 1970.

A similar storm killed 17,000 people in 1912.
A similar storm killed 6,000 people in 1897, and destroyed Tacloban in half an hour.
