Two Years Since The Typhoon Haiyan Climate Lies

Two years ago, climate fraudsters had a field day when Typhoon Haiyan struck Tacloban and killed 5,000 people.  They claimed it was the most powerful cyclone ever, with 200 MPH winds. PBS of course was front and center of the fraud.

The actual wind speeds were nowhere near 200 MPH, and there have been many stronger typhoons in the Philippines since 1970.

  1. Note that in the Nova graphic above the coconut palms still kept most of their fronds, whereas in the case of Typhoon Sening, only the bases of the trunks had remained.

    A typhoon in Vietnam during the 1880’s killed at least 200,000.
