Antarctic sea ice is well above normal.

It is obviously very cold near the poles this year, so our friends at NOAA use almost no data from the Arctic or Antarctic in determining that 2015 is the hottest year ever – ahead of the COP21 climate fraud.

    New study: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2015/12/151208134634.htm
It is periodical due to AMOC.
Since 1979 AMO has been warming, now it is cooling.

  2. Marsh says:

At a time of record ICE growth at either Pole ; It would be “impossible” to be Hottest Year Ever…
Even idiots would realize ; both situations cannot occur in the same year!

  3. Henry P says:

I told you all that we are cooling from the top latitudes downwards.
This became already apparent to me from the results from Anchorage, Alaska:

    http://oi60.tinypic.com/2d7ja79.jpg

Do you see that the 87 Gleissberg cycle is recognized from the raw data?

As the temperature differential between the poles and equator grows larger due to the cooling from the top, very likely something will also change on earth. Predictably, there would be a small (?) shift of cloud formation and precipitation, more towards the equator, on average. At the equator insolation is 684 W/m2 whereas on average it is 342 W/m2. So, if there are more clouds in and around the equator, this will amplify the cooling effect due to less direct natural insolation of earth (clouds deflect a lot of radiation). Furthermore, in a cooling world there is more likely less moisture in the air, but even assuming equal amounts of water vapor available in the air, a lesser amount of clouds and precipitation will be available for spreading to higher latitudes. So, a natural consequence of global cooling is that at the higher latitudes it will become cooler and/or drier. At the lower latitudes, e.g. around the equator it will become wetter.
Climate change is happening. The change is logical to understand for any type of scientist if you know what is driving the climate.
I cannot believe that the majority of scientists don’t get it….

But it’s the wrong graph, the wrong graph! ahhhhhh.

  5. wizzum says:

Interesting difference between the 30% graph with coastal zones masked and the 15% without.
Is it a lack of storms in the Arctic this fall causing the integrity of the polar cap and how will this affect the totals for the season?

  6. Francisco says:

Seems there might be some discrepancy and the DMI graph is not quite accurate. I cannot find ice breaking records anywhere else. Here’s another example that does not quite follow the post (unless I am missing something): https://ads.nipr.ac.jp/vishop/vishop-extent.html?N

    I found this interesting:
“Scientists create stunning map of what’s under the Antarctic – and reveal mysterious volcanic ‘hot zones’ are recently active”

Starting about 15 years ago when I began my quest for knowledge about the earths climate in response to the global warming then later climate change hype the proponents continually pointed to the Western Antarctic Ice shelf as proof of their claims and said it was about to collapse due to global warming.

Recently we have learned that not only is that shelf gaining a little ice, it is doing so despite more volcanic activity going on under it than was previously thought. It seems that every time they point to one place or another or one event or another as being indicative of global warming/climate change, mother nature and/or some new knowledge turns around and kicks them in the teeth.

  8. cfgjd says:

WAIS started rapid mass-loss rather recently with Pine Island Glacier speed-up and grounding-line retreat due to warmed ocean at depth. If this process continues there’s a tipping point in the future after which the retreat of that sector cannot be reversed.

    • gator69 says:

cfool has just told us there will be no more ice ages. Where is the rigorous peer reviewed paper to back this wild assertion?

    • AndyG55 says:

      Don’t panic little child.

The rest of Antarctica is gaining mass. 🙂

      So is Greenland. 😉

The corner is turned….. there is no more boogieman under the bed..

  9. Henry P says:

    friends
    I have some wonderful news
    http://oi64.tinypic.com/vyxdld.jpg

it seems there has been no change in rainfall patterns in South Africa over the past 92 years.

  10. Henry P says:

    all I wanted to say:
the weather here [in South Africa] appears to be the same
it has not changed in the past 100 years …..

    • Ted says:

That’s called climate stagnation. It’s caused by human emissions of CO2, and if we don’t do something about it immediately, we’re all going to die.

  11. Marsh says:

Currently, it is “Snowing” in Tasmania “Australia’s Summer” Cannot be Hottest Year Ever!!!!!!
    http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-12-12/summer-snow-delighting-tasmanians/7023258

  12. aeroguy48 says:

I can’t believe all you climate ‘denier’ ninnies don’t see the obvious of what is happening. Because of the record heat, both poles are capturing it and storing in the form of snow and ice, only to be unleashed when, and a big, IF it ever cools again../

    • AndyG55 says:

Kevin (Trenberth), is that you ???

Another vague idea about where the missing heat went ???;-)

      • Henry P says:

Actually, I figured out where Trenberth’s energy went.
Due to the lower solar polar magnetic field strengths, more of the highest charged particles are able to leave the sun. Earth atmosphere is protecting us from these by reacting and forming more ozone, peroxides and N-oxides. In its turn, the increase in these substances TOA deflects more UV radiation back into space because these compounds have strong absorption in the UIV regions. Hence the increase in albedo the last decade or so.
So it is quite simple: Trenberth’s missing energy went back into space as back radiation. It is not in the seas as some “warming” ninnies have suggested. It just never got here…..

      • rah says:

This has to be sarcasm. Right?

        • Henry P says:

No sarcasm intended. From the reports I read, Trenberth knew about the back radiation caused by ozone.
He just never looked at the peroxides and N-oxides,
Above the oceans, peroxides seem to be formed preferentially to ozone
          2 [OH] + UV (C) => H2O2
Hence, there never was a ozone “hole”.
That whole ozone scare was another complete red herring….just like the CO2 scare is utter and complete nonsense.

        • rah says:

          Henry P
My reply about sarcasm was to aeroguy48.

        • aeroguy48 says:

Yes it was rah. Hence the …/sarc

        • rah says:

Thought it might be but “sarc” got left out in your OM somehow. Look at it.

        • Henry P says:

perhaps it is an issue to think a bit more about?
Energy from the sun vaporises water. When this water vapor condenses [to rain] it releases that energy back into the atmosphere.
I reckon that when water freezes it also releases energy into the atmosphere. To get it to melt again you have to put same energy back [in or on the ice].
So the remark from aeroguy was ironic, not sarcastic.

        • aeroguy48 says:

As the great Nancy Pelosi would say to HenryP ‘Are you serious?’

        • aeroguy48 says:

I know rah, I abbreviated the ../sarc tag.

  13. Henry P says:

    sarcastic = mocking which bites
ironic= when you mean the opposite of what you say, perhaps also mockingly, but not biting

  14. Henry P says:

Sorry, I know nothing of Nancy,
    please elaborate
    {I live in South Africa}

    • aeroguy48 says:

Nancy Pelosi, was the Democratic leader of the US House of Representatives who shoved down the throats of us peons the greatest scam ever in the US and that was called obamacare. Right before the legislation Known as ‘The affordable Care act’ She stated: ‘we have to pass it to see whats in it’ . And BTW obamacare has been an unmitigated nightmare.

      • Henry P says:

        Thx for the explanation.
I know nothing of Obama care
I am in favor of rich and poor getting the same treatment when they end up in hospital.

        • rah says:

Henry P says:”I am in favor of rich and poor getting the same treatment when they end up in hospital.”

THAT will never happen anywhere Henry. Did you know that there are private hospitals just for the rich in England? And even if such things as that did not exist, the rich can afford to go find the best center and specialists for what ails them no matter where it is in the world. Canadians were coming down to the US for procedures all the time because of the wait for vital procedures they ran up against with Canadian nationalized health care. Don’t know if that is still going on or not but I know it was as for a few years ago.

Pelosi was the Speaker of the House before the Republicans took over the majority in our House of Representatives. The Speaker of the House is the next in the line of succession to the Presidency after the VP. Since the House of Representatives on our government is supposed to be the holder of the purse strings and supposedly all spending bills must pass through them, being the Speaker, which controls what bills comes before the body to be considered and which has much control over proposed amendments to bills, is a very powerful position.

There is good news disguised as bad news from the UN’s Cop-21 Conference:

The seemingly meaningless treaty from the UN’s COP-21 Conference in fact signals the end to seventy years (1945-2015) of government deceit disguised as “consensus science.”

Interesting how that plot keeps diverging from the so called “absolute” plot. Reggie must have his blowtorch working in the coastal areas.
