Disappearing Glaciers In 1910

1910 was one of the coldest years on record according to NASA, and glaciers were rapidly retreating all  over the world. The Jakobshavn Glacier in Greenland was retreating more than one foot per day, and the Arapahoe Glacier in Colorado was doomed.

We are now in the hottest year on record, and the Jakobshavn Glacier is not shrinking..


This is what the Arapahoe Glacier looked like this morning, after 106 years of unprecedented warming and melting.
