Louisiana Is A Flood Plain – It Floods There Frequently

Louisiana suffers massive floods all the time. Here is a small sampling of their larger ones.

In 1874, Louisiana flooding was the calamity of the century.

Eight years later, they had another massive flood in 1882.

17 Jun 1912 – MISSISSIPPI FLOODS – Trove

Fifteen years later in 1927, Louisiana suffered the worst flood in US history. The 1927 flood led to mass migrations of black people from the south into northern cities.

On Good Friday, April 15, 1927, 15 inches of rain poured on New Orleans within 18 hours, causing water to rise four feet in parts of the city.

There have been many more floods in Louisiana, but I need to take the dogs for a walk and don’t have time to list them all. People who claim that Louisiana flooding has something to do with CO2, are complete morons.
