Proof That Montreal Is Hotter Than Death Valley

The dew point in Montreal is 74 degrees right now (~30,000 PPM H2O), compared with 20 degrees in Death Valley (~3,000 PPM H2O.)  With greenhouse gas levels 10X higher in Montreal than Death Valley, there can be little doubt that Montreal must be extremely hot and Death Valley must be extremely cold.

Ventusky – Wind, Rain and Temperature Maps

We know this because our top scientists say heatwaves are caused by greenhouse gases.

And speaking of the Arctic heat wave being widely reported in the press, the North Pole is having their coldest summer on record.

Highly sophisticated, peace and science loving Democrats are certain the North Pole has melted, and that Republicans need to be “punched in the neck.”

I was in El Paso a couple years ago when the dew point was 0F. I was wondering why I was so stinking cold when I got out of the pool, considering that the air temp was in the 90’s. Evaporative cooling can be quite impressive. It can also dry you out and kill you in a hurry.

  2. Griff says:

The pole is just a little below the mean temperatures…

if you are really trying to say local CO2 values drive temps, then it is about time you went back to school.

also I still see you haven’t reviewed the current heatwave in Europe and Japan and the incidence of wildfires across the N of Europe and Siberia. You certainly haven’t pointed out the increase in heatwaves across Europe. Is that just US centricity or avoiding a difficult topic?

The arctic sea ice extent btw is at 8th lowest on NSIDC figures… 6 of the 7 lower extents have been since 2011 That does not show the arctic is recovering or in a good state, does it???

    • Robertv says:

What would be the good state for the arctic? And during this interglacial when exactly did we have that ‘good’ state in the arctic. The good state during the last 2 million years would be 2 miles of ice over Montreal.

    • richard says:

Griff how about record cold in Australia and Brazil, why did you miss that out.

    • spike55 says:

“The pole is just a little below the mean temperatures… “

There has not been a COLDER summer above 80N than this year in DMI temperature data.

There is ZERO EVIDENCE that CO2 drives temperature, anywhere, anytime.

You are DEVOID OF EVIDENCE, you pathetic, headless, chicken-little prat.

MASIE is currently above EVERY year except 2008, and 2008 was THIN and SPARSE.

    • spike55 says:

      You are PROVEN LIAR, griff.

Your posts are a MEANINGLESS waste of everybody’s time.

      You are A JOKE.

    • spike55 says:

      YOU are a LIAR, griff

DMI volume is above every year back to and including 2005 except 2014

And you KNOW that the late 1970s was a time of EXTREME high sea ice.

And you KNOW that current levels are in the TOP 10% of the last 10,000 years

STOP your MORONIC child-like anti-facts and your chicken-little panic.

You look more and more like a mental degenerate every day.

So greenhouse gases trap heat only when convenient? Thanks for sharing that with us.

    • Gator says:

This weather report brought to you by Genocide Griff.

    • dp says:

If this were climate change it would be common but it is all unusual. Climate is the average of weather – weather has to change first and for a long time to be computed into a climate estimate. Given we have been warming since the end of the LIA it should be no surprise we are warming else would would not call it “the end of the LIA”. Temperature is just one component of weather. Don’t be overly fixated on it.

    • sunsettommy says:

Ed, even with NSIDC claims, it is showing that the region will remain above average for the interglacial period. Another 4+ wadhams minimum coming up, which means another year of failed no summer ice predictions coming to a close.

Stop thinking that the climate world started in 1979, since I know the planet existed before that year personally, heck they even had sea ice coverage back to late 1972, which is nearly 7 years of data.

Lets face it Griff, you DELIBERATELY leave out evidence that doesn’t support your warmist delusion.

  3. Robertv says:

When jet streams get more or less stable in one position during a longer period of time it will cause ‘extreme’ weather.
The question is what force manipulates the position of the jet stream?
    CO2 ?

  4. RAH says:

They were talking about the high humidity on a Toronto radio station when I was driving up there yesterday morning. That night as I was heading back the temp on my truck thermometer read 64 deg. F as I pulled in at Comber about 48 Km from Windsor.
