$9.2 Trillion Per Year To Save The World

In order to save the planet from a one part per ten thousand increase in atmospheric CO2 over the past century, we need to spend almost a quadrillion dollars over the next century.

they always say its not about the $ its all about the environment when in fact is ALL ABOUT $$$
and when the GET their greedy hands on the money and spend it uselessly and no change in global warming they will say SEE WE STOPPED IT -give us MORE MONEY

Thanks god it got warmer since the 70 ies,
otherwise Mann would now need 9.2 trillion( at least not 9.7) to save the world from global cooling and man made aerosols.

Considering the record yields in terms of crop, rice etc, irrelevant sea level rise,
the decrease in hurricanes and the fact that climate poses 0 threat to any issue that is important to humans , i wonder what the real Agenda behind AGW may be?

    Funny note:
With 97%:) less money per year we can built enough atomic power plants to replace irreliables.
But if the endgame is to turn the whole planet into north korea with global energy poverty then atomic power plants would be contraproductive.

There’s only one rational answer. That is – with nuclear being the obvious answer totally ignored – they can have one aim: to destroy the world’s economy so they can then go in and rearrange the pieces that are left.

  3. As long as we ignore the Laws of Thermodynamics, AGW becomes credible. There is less science in this BS than there is in astrology. But unfortunately, there is one born every minute.

    • GreyGeek says:

      Exactly!
The Stephan-Bolzman Law which shows that as the temperature a body increases the radiation of that heat increases to the 4th power of Temperature. Combine that with the fact that the CO2 absorption spectrum has transparent windows in it that allow heat to radiate into space, and you know why the earth won’t become Venus. Add to that the fact that as the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere increases its ability to absorb IR heat decreases. Another fact is that as the rise of CO2 in the atmosphere is fertilizer for green plants, and in the last 25 years the amount of vegetation has increased.

Another obvious fact that most AGW proponents gloss over is the Photosynthesis Cycle. Mammals and green plants are in a symbiotic relationship. The plants inhale CO2 through their stoma, mix it with water and sunlight, and exhale Oxygen and create sugar. We breathe the Oxygen and eat the sugar. Were the ppm of CO2 to drop below 150 the green plants would die because of the decrease in partial pressure of the CO2 which is necessary to for the CO2 to pass through the plants stoma. If the green plants die, or drastically decrease, then we die.

Cimastrologers say we need to spend 9.2 trillion a year, which Michael Mann will use to build the biggest pyramid ever, even up into the stratosphere, and it surely will appease the weather gods.

  5. GWS says:

The same old song and dance. These two clowns are insane. Yet people take them seriously. It makes me sick.

  6. Gasher says:

Investment! We are all into this together. Haha.

The science is not really science is it? We are not a closed system we are exposed to the rest of the universe.

Let’s be clear – nobody wants pollution but CO2 is not pollution. Nobody seems aware that the rest of the solar system is undergoing change. Is that because you didn’t buy an electric car? Yes I meant you!

    Insanity.

  7. Eli the Pit Bull says:

    And the weather won’t change….

  8. Ken says:

Where do these “people” come from? They must be sucking on a bottle of meth – fumes have destroyed their brain cells. They discuss trillions like turning on the water faucet and money comes pouring out or have discovered a new Money Tree where don’t have to worry about paper or silver – this new breed of trees grows so much in 24 hour you need (6) chain saws just to trim up the branches from yesterday. Why stop at Trillions – Quadrillion, Quintillion or even Sextillion are just around the corner. I’m sure that EVERY family has a semi trailer of spare change parked in the backyard for those rainy days where a extra sextillion would come in handy for inviting a few friends over for a lite luncheon of BBQ. >>> A few words – Willam Wallace – Scotland >>> Cowboys – tree & r*pe >>> French – Guillotine – People / equipment stopped BAD sick individuals

  9. Jeff Jones says:

That Michael Mann appears to be one of the most ignorant people on the big stage. Somehow we need to make widely known thew fact that CO2 is not even close to being a greenhouse gas. It blows my mind that ‘experts’ from all disciplines are buying off on a fantasy so easily debunked b y high school level science.

  10. Daniel Smeal says:

Why aren’t these ‘Western World’ morons focusing their criticism on China and other Communistic countries that apparently have little interest in reducing their use of, and emissions from coal-burning power plants. The US, via EPA’s Clean Air Act has made great strides in reducing the emission of pollutants into the environment from coal burning. (By the way CO2 is NOT included in the list of these pollutants). Respiratory health problems experienced by the Chinese people are due to the emissions of heavy metals, etc., not CO2 – the most important compound to life on the planet.

The way Biden’s inflation is progressing, $9.2 Trillion will be chump change in a couple of years. Sooner if hyperinflation kicks in.

  12. Hugh R Crowther says:

One third of the Suns energy landing on Earth goes into Evaporating Water.
The only way Water can get into the Atmosphere is as a Gas, Water Vapor.
The only way Water can get out of the Atmosphere is as Liquid or Solid rain, snow, hail.
Water in the atmosphere turns over 40 times a year ie every 9 days.
So every 9 days a third of the Suns energy gets put into the Atmosphere as Latent Heat!
So this is the competition one ten thousandth of the Atmosphere – Man Made CO2 (one piece of straw on a very big haystack) is up against.
Global Warming, Climate Change – cannot be happening – it’s not possible!
