I was not paying attention to Eisenhower in 1961, and did not fully comprehend until forty years later – in 2001 – why basic flaws were hidden in Dr. Carl von Weizsacker’s concept of “nuclear binding energy” [Exaggerating proton-proton repulsion; Underestimating neutron-neutron repulsion] in a nuclear physics textbook by leaving off data points for the decay of the neutron and the tritium atom from a graph of nuclear decay energies of all “mirror-image nuclei” from A = 1-41.

Many people avoid this stuff like the plague. Conservatives don’t want to believe that the Bushes are a part of it, and liberals seem completely unaware that they’ve been used. The newest twist to control over the last half-century was indeed to find the new common enemy – fears of environmental catastrophe – about which they hoped nobody could argue, and around which they could usurp control.

I think we are in an age akin to that of Galileo: new knowledge, via scientific progress, is breaking the present paradigm, just as the new knowledge of Galileo threatened to break the paradigm of his time, when the Roman Catholic Church ruled both science & religion.
Our present Masters Of The Universe are, IMHO, the Banksters, the most heavily subsidised “business” on the planet. In short, they are allowed to loan out, & charge interest on, £10, for every £1 they have in their vaults. That’s, for an experienced business man, a totally ludicrous profit margin/subsidy. When they go broke & are deemed “too big to fail”, then, to me, that breaks Capitalism & Democracy into pieces, & we now exist in a fascist dictatorship which the Rothschild Central Bankster system is trying to extend worldwide. When the Banksters’ debts are lumped onto the backs of poor taxpayers, then that’s “progress” back toward a Feudal system of Lords & Serfs. Look into what is happening in Greece right now.

I believe I watched that (and an interview of Gunderson) a few years ago. No time to watch a 2-hr vid now, to refamiliarize myself with it, but may try this weekend if I get time.
Also, perhaps this is old paradigm, but I turn off immediately when I read anything anti-Jew. I believe there is a U.N., International banks/international corporations/governments alliance for control of the world’s people and wealth. But as a skeptic, I also do not just eat up every Alex Jones-type conspiracy theory that I read.
Somewhere in it all, therein lies grains of truth. I like begin with what the founders of the Constitution hammered out, and go from there. When I see deviations from that, flags go up.

Eisenhower also saw the dangers of state and media collusion, but his advisers had him edit that part out of the speech. A real shame, and poor judgement on Ike’s part.

my astronomer/rocket scientist dad, Aden Meinel, was friends with Eisenhower since they met during WWII. He discussed with Eisenhower how to start NASA.
Eisenhower wasn’t against all science funding, he was worried about the social funding in the universities. He was very much for funds for space and astronomy which is why Kitt Peak was started with Federal funds my dad got from Eisenhower.

I have known people both at the University of Maryand and NASA/Goddard who are totally sickened by the whole Government grant scam. These Federal agencies have millions in grants to give away and if anyone shows even a hint of objectivity or skepticism (actually being scientists), they are denied out of hand.
