Experts also say burning fossil fuels will cause the oceans to get much deeper.
“Prof. Hansen and his colleagues argue that rapidly melting ice caps in Antarctica and Greenland could cause oceans to swell several metres by 2100 – or maybe even as much as 25 metres, which is how much higher the oceans sat about three million years ago.”

“A new report, released by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration on the last day of Barack Obama’s presidency, presents a series of updated estimates for future sea-level rise, both in the United States and worldwide. It suggests that, under extreme future climate change, global sea levels could rise by more than eight feet by the end of the century”
Obama issued this report in between buying his Hawaiian beach mansion and his Massachusetts beach mansion.
This climate has been around for a billion years since earth cooled down(and it cooled down with double digit % co2 levels),
but all of a sudden, after billions of years of warming and cooling within a necessary narrow margin to not kill all life on earth climate turned superfragile just right in time for the Agenda.
I also doubt that 273 degrees Celsius would result in a complete evaporation of the oceans, as the boiling point of water at already100 bar should already be north of 300 degrees.
But who cares about such irrelevant stuff.
And just in case someone wonders how these monkeys came up with the magic 273 – 2 times.

which is probably quiet an intellectual accomplishment in climate science.
Boy, I’m off my game. But I think 0 Kelvin is absolute zero. You can’t, in theory, get any colder. 273 Kelvin is 0 Centigrade (Celsius). Normal Centigrade temperatures need 273 added to them to be absolute temperatures. So a one degree increase in our normally used temperature measurements sound like, or seem like a 3% increase in temperature (given our normal range is about 0 -35 on the centigrade scale), but in scientific terms they are a 1/300th increase in temperature, which sounds like normal variability.
Uncontrolled green house effect. So it is controlled right now? How does their model explain geological CO2 records and related temperatures? It apparently doesn’t. They need to tweak their model.
For this to happen, the boiling off of Earth’s oceans, Earth would have to move closer to the Sun by +- 75 MILLION miles. I don’t see that happening do ya’ll???
0 kelvin is absolute zero – that’s why I added the event horizon lite nonsense.(it is – 273.14 Celsius to be super correct but I guess this is only in theory or pre big bang space with 0 radiation really possible).
Btw you have a good point that a 1 degree increase is just a shabby 0.33 % (which is extremely small – I guess the best weather models probably have have an error margin of 33% which is 2 magnitudes worse.)
So we have guys who are usually wrong 50% of the time trying to tell us that a 0.5 %+ overall increase(=1.5 degrees) is leathal.
Garbage in garbage out. A computer simulation based on the crap theory of the greenhouse effect will have predictable, and completely spurious results. These incompetents should have been sacked thirty years ago. I don’t care how advanced their degrees in speculation and conjecture are or how precisely they have coded up tarot cards, these predictions are thermodynamic nonsense.
