    The main difference was probably the difference in accuracy between measuring devices and siting issues.

    But once you figure in the heat index, it really wasn’t that cold. I believe it’s called ‘The Hansen Effect’.

      In the Winter the heat index probably made it feel like -28 or the scientific term for that would be “Friggen Cold”

    Very much like 1936, very cold winter followed by very hot summer. Catastrophic spring flooding and tornadoes. Sounds a lot like global weirding to me, even with CO2 well under 350 ppm.
