In 2009, Trenberth told his cronies us that the earth is warming much slower than expected
The fact is that we can’t account for the lack of warming at the moment and it is a travesty that we can’t
– Kevin Trenberth October 12, 2009
In 2012, after three more years of no warming, Trenberth says that Earth is likely to warm faster than expected.

Future warming likely to be on high side of climate projections, research finds
NCAR scientists John Fasullo and Kevin Trenberth, who co-authored the study, reached their conclusions by analyzing how well sophisticated climate models reproduce observed relative humidity in the tropics and subtropics.

Climate science has nothing to do with science.
“…reached their conclusions by analyzing how well sophisticated climate models reproduce observed relative humidity in the tropics and subtropics.”
Was one of these models by any chance a 12 ounce glass of cold beer served in Cancun? Or maybe in Trenberth’s case, a Zima.
Possibly a model named Heidi!
Climate science is more like voodoo science. I bet they made a little effigy of Paul Hudson (the guy on the BBC who said bad things about the climate – like ‘it hasn’t warmed since 1998’) and stuck pins in it.
This upcoming winter looks like serious business. They will have to forget about warming and instead keep talking about how horrible the weather is, how it’s all our fault, etc., etc. It is all so lame.
I would prefer to call it climate sceance, with ouija-models
Old Kev Trenberth, what a to88er but remember without climate warming bollocks that is CAGW – Kev would be living on the street.
I am starting to wonder how they think these things up perhaps climate scientists should be drug tested like sports people.
Jumbo Shrimp, Military Intelligence, Climate science.
Trenberth picked out a feature of a set of climate models that best modelled the behaviour of *one* particular part of the climate system, according to observations. These models happened to be highly sensitive to CO2. He failed to mention that these models also had the least empirical support overall, according to observations. This was not mentioned in the paper. Until the journals either stop publishing junk or require researchers to address these inconsistencies, the field cannot be taken too seriously.
He must have woke up with a decapitated horse head in his bead.
Next they will be claiming the Solar warming is hiding and growing in the bottom of the oceans but not the same kind of warmth that triggers the El-Nino. A different kind of warmth like you get with A-bombs.
