I visited my 83 year old friend last night in Fort Collins, and she pulled out a gun I had never seen before. It is a 17th? century musket in mint condition. This thing would blow somebody’s head right off.
Democrats have been saying that the 2nd Amendment only applies to muskets, but they would try to get them banned too if they actually knew anything about them.
Using their logic, the First Amendment only applies to movable type printing presses, and Obama’s jurisdiction only applies to the thirteen original colonies.

Only print journalist are protected by the first amendment and using the lefts logic they need to be registered with the government and they must pay for their own background check and they must not print more than 15 words.
They cannot pass their printing press along to their heirs and they can be prosecuted if their words cause any harm.
These people in Colorado are completely off their rocker. The gun bills are before the Colorado Senate today.
We used to build stuff like that when I was a “kid”, homemade gunpowder and all. You can really juice up your homebrew with a little thermite…
For a 10th grade history class project I made up some gunpowder and was amazed when the teacher encouraged me to light it. I guess those days are long gone. Hell most of the stuff we did back then would now be illegal.
It is also not too difficult to make up homemade fuel-air devices and napalm…balloons and garbage bags can be wonderful toys 😉
Yeah, a blunderbuss, strictly speaking. If a musket was the period’s equivalent of an assault rifle, this is the equivalent of a sawed-off shotgun!
PS– not an expert, but I think that would be more 18th c. than 17th. The trigger/flintlock looks a lot like what you’d find on a standard Brown Bess of the Revolutionary era.

The nice thing is that you can make your own gunpowder and load it up with assorted nuts and bolts for a nice post- apocalypse zombie slaying weapon.
