Alarmists Imagining That Reagan Was On Their Side

There have been numerous articles recently from alarmists claiming Reagan as one of their own. Like this one from Romm.

Talk about revisionism. In the 1980s, environmentalists were absolutely hysterical about Ronald “when you have seen one redwood tree you have seen them all” Reagan as president. His choice of James “I hate the sound of running water” Watt as Secretary of the Interior drove them nearly insane.

Rewriting the past is a trademark signature of Romm and crew.

  1. Mike Davis says:

They rewrite historical temperatures. Why not the rest of history?

  2. MattN says:

Reagan was in no way, shape, or form, on the alarmists side. He may have indeed been concerned about pollution, but that in no way implies he gave a hot damn about CO2. Ever.

  3. Lazarus says:

    ShugNiggurath says:
“And what was the content of that report?”

What difference does that make to MattN’s claim; ‘that in no way implies he gave a hot damn about CO2. Ever’ is incorrect?
