100,000 Dead Cattle Leave Gruesome Trail
Something the mainstream media has been ignoring is the continuing upward count of cattle deaths in the recent EARLY SEASON snow storm in South Dakota. Estimates started in the 20,000 range and have now increased to a 100,000. In spite of what you may have heard, these type of events are happening more frequent not only in the Northern Hemi but also in the Southern Hemi. In the Northern Hemi, 4 out of the last 5 years have been the snowiest on record. It started early last year over Iceland where upwards of 15,000 Icelandic sheep were buried in snow overnight and recently in the Southern Hemi over 25,000 animals where buried alive in heavy snowfall back in September in Peru. There has been no statistical global warming for the past 15 years and solar activity is non existent and has been the quietest in 190 years. The Arctic Sea Ice extent has recovered rapidly since the historic low of last year and is now the highest since 2005. The Antarctic is currently the highest on record. The experts told us back in 2000 that in a few short years snowfall would be a thing of the past and the Arctic would be Ice Free by 2013. Get ready for the upcoming winter. All early indications are pointing that the Northern Hemi is setting up for another year of extreme snowfall events.

There have been early snowfalls in Bavaria and Austria too.

Looks like the hit costume this year may be the “Shivering Child”. Yikes. Definitely lots of night/morning chill in the air of late in Sacramento.
Ranchers in South Dakota lost tens of thousands of cattle from a freak storm. Thanks to the shutdown, no one is paying attention
If you aren’t in the ag world, you most likely haven’t heard about the devastating loss that ranchers in western South Dakota are struggling with after being hit by winter storm Atlas. For some reason the news stations aren’t covering this story. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t. This story has heartbreak, tragedy and even a convenient tie into the current government shutdown. Isn’t that what the news is all about these days?
But the news isn’t covering this story. Instead, it is spreading around on social media, and bloggers are writing from their ranches in South Dakota.
