Alarmists believe everything is caused by globull warming and that anyone who thinks differently is crazy and a terrorist. Salem witch trial logic at work.

Sad.
And in early October.
And in my neck of the woods little has been said of the record early snow (as much 6 inches) that hit 6800 ft Big Bear on Oct 9th in socal. The previous record for the earliest at least 1 inch snow was October 10th in 1985, and this was way more than an inch. Also, the surrounding higher mountains, San Gorgonio et al at 10,000 ft, are still totally covered in snow. I remember in early July there was still snow on San Gorgonio. So we had only about 3 months with those mountains being free of snow.
But… I just noticed that the warmist weather dot com has removed the link I gave above talking about the Big Bear record early snow last week! But the article used to be there, because when I googled “california-snow-colorado-high-winds” it shows up. Odd. This looks fishy. I’m not crazy because others linked to the now non-existent article as well, including: http://psiextras.forumotion.com/t1803-western-storm-snow-for-california-and-rockies-high-winds-for-colorado-october-10-2013
To be fair, they were talking about a decrease in heavy snowstorms in winter. Since this is early autumn, it doesn’t count.
That was an incredibly dumb comment. I hope it was sarcasm.
Yes, Steve, of course it was sarcasm. It was so completely ridiculous, how could it be anything else?
Apparently, I’m having computer problems. I did not get an email notifying me of your reply, but I did get email notification of Eric Simpson’s reply … which was an hour and a half later. Bummer.
I’m pretty sure that was pure sarcasm on the Geezer’s part, Steven. Of course, the point being that if there’s supposed to be no snow in winter, having huge amounts of snow show up in autumn… early autumn no less ….clearly doesn’t jive with Chicken Little hogwash.
Yes, it was sarcasm. Thank you. I had no idea that anyone would take that remark seriously.
And I liked your comment because of the way you write with a straight face a joke, and in doing that expose the idiocy of the fear mongering doomsdayers. A longish comment of mine that I did here but especially at wuwt got seriously misinterpreted as non-sarcastic, and sparked a lot of outrage (lol, check out the large number of mostly negative responses, but others came to my defense), despite my explicitly saying that i was “pretending to be a guilt-ridden white warmist,” was my comment here: http://wattsupwiththat.com/2012/06/17/the-very-model-of-a-modern-major-problem/#comment-1011605
My response to the IPCC report is to use most of it as a door stop, and I grabbed about 1000 pages of it to prop up the table leg. You can use the back side of each page as scrap paper since they only print on one side, since they don’t care about wasting paper. And when it gets really cold in the winter I’ll stick it in my franklin stove when I run out of wood which I use for heat because I’m such a greentard.
Eric Simpson … that exchange at WUWT was hilarious.
I just skimmed through the comments. (It’s very late and I should be in bed.) My favorites were Miss Grundy @ Jun 17 8:41pm, and Tom in Florida @ Jun 18 4:20pm. I’m too tired to watch the two videos posted by AJB … did he/she ever pick up on the parody?
I suspect that we are often reading these posts and comments so quickly (so much to read, so little time), that we frequently miss the subtler points of some of them. It could be that by the time they reached the end of your soliloquy, some had forgotten the opening paragraph.
It’s very late and I should be in bed. I got that, lol.
Anyway, I need to review the replies myself again, but I can see that AJB’s first sort of puzzling comment showed he thought I was among the bad guys, then after I replied to him he was fully on my side.
I thought H.R.’s comment was great: Re: Eric Simpson; I thought the [paraphrased] “we have to start living in huts now or else we’ll wind up living in huts” was the giveaway (and piercingly funny).

I actually read somewhere where a warmist was calling the early snows (thing of the past)an “extreme” precipitation event that was “consistent” with AGW.
