Five years ago, Texas was having a very hot and dry summer. Fraudsters like Andrew Dessler and Katherine Hayhoe jumped at the opportunity to push their climate scam, and announced that Texas would be hot and dry for the rest of the century.

The closest USHCN station to Texas A&M, where Dessler works, shows that summer maximum temperatures have been generally declining for Dessler’s entire life.

Precipitation has been increasing, and was the highest last year during Dessler’s life.

And the frequency of hot days has also plummeted during Dessler’s life.

There was never any legitimate science behind Dessler’s claim. He simply used people suffering in the 2011 heat as a prop to promote himself and his book sales. And he uses The Onion as his source of news.

Experts say that the Arctic is melting down.

The area of 1.5 meter (5 foot) thick ice in the Arctic has more than doubled over last year, and total volume has massively increased. The animation below shows only ice 1.5+ meters thick.
