National Geographic says that “scientists are watching in horror” as Florida sea levels rise six feet over the next 84 years..

Scientists Are Watching in Horror as Ice Collapses

Forty years ago during the global cooling scare, scientists were studying this collapse which had been going on for 6,000 years, and saying: “It has nothing to do with a warmer climate, just the dynamics of unstable ice.” It was the lead story in the Chicago Tribune on January 9, 1977. – which was one of the coldest and snowiest winters on record in the Eastern US.

“We’re doing about the most we can do right now to study the possible collapse of the west ice sheet,” said Dr. Richard Cameron, NSF program manager for glaciology. “It has become an  area of concern because we could be on the brink of a rise in sea levels.”

“We believe that the west ice sheet is unstable, that it has been rapidly disintegrating in geological terms for the last  6000 years, and that is is possible that in 300 years the west sheet could collapse,” said Hughes.

THE STAGGERING aspect of the re- search is the discovery of a potentially catastrophic phenomenon that had been totally unexpected.

‘We’re seeing the West ice sheet on its way out,” said Cameron. “It seems to be doing something completely different than the east ice sheet. It has nothing to do with a warmer climate, just the dynamics of unstable ice.”

Two years later, scientists said that this cycle had occurred 17 times, and that the WAIS had collapsed only once.

But only two years after that, climate scamsters had already started blaming this on global warming. Research money had shifted from global cooling to global warming since 1977.

Scientists actually knew about this long before 1977. By 1932, the WAIS Ross Ice Shelf had retreated 30 miles – a process which may have been going on for centuries.

The National Geographic claim that Florida sea level is going to rise two meters by 2100 is patently false. Sea level there has been rising steadily at 2.3 mm/year over the past century. It will take more than 800 years for sea level to rise six feet. There is no correlation indicated between sea level rise rates and CO2. Sea level was rising 2.3 mm/year when CO2 was 300 PPM, and it is still rising at the same rate.

There is not one shred of evidence that anything humans are doing is affecting Antarctic ice or sea level. This is the biggest fraud in science history, and I certainly hope that President Trump holds the fraudsters accountable.

The New York Times claims that last year’s 10.1 million acres of fires was the most on record, even though it was a quiet year outside of Alaska and California.

Their claim is completely fraudulent. The New York Times reported twice as much burn acreage in 1937. Even worse, the 1937 data probably did not include Alaska, like the 2015 data did.

But New York Times fraud gets much worse. When CO2 was at pre-industrial levels, forest burned almost fifteen times as much land in the US.

There is zero evidence that “climate change” is increasing wildfires. We are having our fourth consecutive very quiet fire year here in Colorado. Newspapers like the New York Times lie about climate nearly every day as their standard operating procedure.

The founding fathers rode in wagons, and couldn’t foresee the danger of fully automatic high powered trucks. A common sense ban on high capacity gas tanks is needed. Had the truck been unable to drive more than two blocks, the tragedy in Nice could have been avoided. No civilian needs a bigger truck than the military.

The president has proposed all of these common sense measures, but obstructive Republicans have kept them from even coming to a vote.

Progressives created this mess, and now they have to live with it.

The Northern Passage (along the Siberian Coast) has been cloudy and cold for weeks, and is not melting. It is very unlikely it will open this year, and very likely that multi-year ice will return to the area this winter.

NASA settled science is above your pay grade.
