Joe Bastardi tweeted this NCEP analysis to me, and alarm bells immediately went off in my head. The 1953 NCEP map is nonsense.
September, 1953 was an incredibly hot month in the eastern US, from start to finish. Most of Illinois and Indiana were over 100 degrees on this date in 1953.
Maximum temperatures during September 1953 averaged six degrees warmer than this September. Yet NCEP says this year is hotter.

Most of the US rarely gets up to 100 degrees any more – particularly in September. But during September, 1953 a huge swath of the eastern and midwest US was over 100 degrees. The animation below compares September 1953 with NOAA’s completely fraudulent “hottest year ever”

On this date in 1953, Palestine, Illinois was 104 degrees, 30 degrees warmer than today. They had four 100 degree days during September, 1953. Palestine, IL hasn’t had a 100 degree day in September since 1991.
One hundred days there were common prior to 1960, but they almost never happen before.
One of the primary functions of both NASA and NOAA is to make America’s hot past disappear.
Among satellites which study Earth’s temperature, 100% of them agree that Earth is not warming.

By contrast, 100% of climate models are wrong.
So how do climate experts respond to this? They ignore the best data we have from satellites, and rely on completely worthless climate models.
London climate alarmist group 10:10 has proposed that teachers execute skeptical schoolchildren in the classroom.
The president of the United States made this spectacularly fraudulent claim about scientists.
There isn’t one smidgen of truth to Barack Obama’s claim. The only relevant survey on this topic showed that barely half of scientists believe global warming is primarily Mann-made, much less dangerous.

Even more damning for Obama’s fraudulent claim is that 100% of satellites say that Earth has not warmed for nearly 20 years.
Wilsons Promonotory is the southernmost point in Victoria. Satellites show that there has been no warming there since the start of records in 1978.

As of 2012, GISS showed no warming since the start of records in 1880.
But since 2012, Gavin and Tom have added a spectacular hockey stick of post 1978 (satellite era) warming.

This warming does not exist. The fraudsters at NASA and NOAA simply made it up.
About once every ten years, NASA comes up with a fake story about life on Mars. This helps keep funding coming in for their climate scam.

Martian salt streaks ‘painted by liquid water’

28 September 2015MRO has an instrument called Crism that can determine the chemistry of surface materials.
It has looked at four locations where dark streaks are seen to come and go during Martian summer months. These streaks, called “recurring slope lineae” (RSL), were well known to Mars scientists and were suspected – but not proven – to be associated with trickling water.
“We know from prior investigations that these features form on Mars,” Mr Ohja told journalists at the briefing.
“However, the key evidence was missing until now – and that was their chemical identity.”
Alfred McEwen, a senior member of the orbiter team and a professor of planetary geology at the University of Arizona, agreed: “We had no direct detection of water; that was just our best guess as to what these were.”
Now, Crism has demonstrated that the RSLs are covered with salts.
There are implications for the existence of life on the planet today, because any liquid water raises the possibility that microbes could also be present. And for future astronauts on Mars, the identification of water supplies near the surface would make it easier for them to “live off the land”.
But the observation over the past 15 years of gullies and surface streaks that appear to change with the seasons has heightened the speculation.
In other words, they didn’t find any water on Mars. They found salt on Mars. If there is water there, why didn’t CRISM detect water?
Suppose for a minute that they did actually find brines which were so concentrated as to keep the water from freezing at -40C, and keep them from boiling away at 10 mb atmospheric pressure. Concentrated brines like that would not be conducive to life.

What is clear, is that Martians are a lot smarter than government scientists.
