Fifteen years ago, Tom Karl said there was a 95% chance that warming from 1997 to 1999 was due to Mann-made global warming.
There hasn’t been any warming since 1997. Only a climate illiterate would suggest that the 1998 El Nino was indicative of a trend.
Even Tom Wigley understood this at the time.

It is only more recently in the Mann/Hansen era, that climate scientists became so stupid and introduced the fictional idea of a stable climate.
A similar, extraordinary movement has been quietly underway in the United States led by the Oregon-based not-for-profit Our Children’s Trust (OCT) devoted to “a game-changing, youth-driven, global climate recovery campaign, securing the legal rightto a healthy atmosphere and stable climate” through legal action, youth engagement, and public education and film. The organization, along with five individual teenagers, and two other non-profit organization representing thousands more, partnered to bring a federal suit to the U.S. Supreme Court designed “to require the federal government to immediately plan for national climate recovery according to the scientific prescription of Dr. James Hansen and other leading international climate scientists that will restore our atmosphere to 350 parts per million (ppm) of CO2 by the end of the century
Hansen must be suffering some sort of dementia, because 15 years ago he wrote this:
What’s happening to our climate? Was the heat wave and drought in the Eastern United States in 1999 a sign of global warming?
Empirical evidence does not lend much support to the notion that climate is headed precipitately toward more extreme heat and drought. The drought of 1999 covered a smaller area than the 1988 drought, when the Mississippi almost dried up. And 1988 was a temporary inconvenience as compared with repeated droughts during the 1930s “Dust Bowl” that caused an exodus from the prairies, as chronicled in Steinbeck’s Grapes of Wrath.
Perhaps they are hoping to bring back the stable climate of 1931?

Arctic ice propaganda at NSIDC depends on graphs like the one below, which cleverly start at peak ice in 1979, and create the deceptive appearance of a linear decrease in ice – intended to fool the reader into believing it is due to CO2 emissions.
But they are hiding the Nimbus 5 microwave satellite data, which goes back to 1972 and was included in the 1990 IPCC report. The Nimbus 5 data completely wrecks their story, because it shows that ice in 1974 was no more extensive than it is today, and that NSIDC cherry-picked 1979 as their start date.
Below is an image from the Nimbus 5 satellite, taken in January 1976 – which shows how detailed the imagery was. NSIDC has no excuse for not using it. It was used in both the IPCC FAR and SAR reports.
Also interesting to note how much Antarctic sea ice has increased since 1976. The gain has been massive.
There is probably more sea ice on Earth now, than there was in the mid-1970s – which was the peak of the ice age scare.
NSIDC also failed to include this graph in their April Sea Ice News – which they normally do in April. Paul Homewood had to make a special request to obtain it.

NSIDC knows that Arctic sea ice is recovering, but they are hiding the information from the public.
It is stunning to think about the level of propaganda here. Sea ice on earth has increased since the 1970s ice age scare, yet we are being led to believe that Earth is overheating and the ice caps are disappearing.

In 1974, the National Science Board (part of the National Science Foundation) said
During the last 20 to 30 years, world temperature has fallen, irregularly at first but more sharply over the last decade.
NASA has completely erased this cooling, and now show a sharp warming from 1964 to 1974 – the exact opposite of what the National Science Board observed at the time.
NASA has dramatically altered their data over the last 30 years, to erase the cooling.
This is a smoking gun of fraud, but Mosher and Zeke say it is top rate science.
NASA has recently erased the 1940’s warmth, but data tampering doesn’t grow ice back.
Chevrolet has learned that they can turn a nearly useless electric powered car into a semi-useful vehicle, by simply burning fossil fuels.
The next logical step is to eliminate the battery, and lower the cost by $20,000. Maybe even put a large internal combustion engine in it, and call it an Impala. People would snap them up if they did that.
The glacier at Glacier Bay, Alaska retreated at a spectacular rate of six feet per day from 1794 to 1896.
If this happened now, experts would declare it to be 100% proof of man-made warming.
In 1990, Hansen was 99% sure of global warming, and Al Gore said it was the biggest environmental problem ever and would kill us all.
Global temperatures have hardly changed since 1990, other than a dip the early 1990’s caused by the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo. These buffoons continue to push the same scam 25 years later.
The November, 1976 issue of National Geographic said that sun drives the climate, and that Iceland had cooled since 1940
The post 1940 cooling in Iceland didn’t fit NASA’s agenda, so three years ago they simply made it disappear.
