After the announcement of hottest year ever, the reason given to ignore satellite temperatures was because “we don’t live in the troposphere.” Apparently we must be fish, because the land temperatures were not the hottest ever. And I am pretty sure that we do actually live in the troposphere.

But it is much worse than it seems. 58% of the land temperatures reported by NCDC for December were completely fake – as shown in the animation below which has ocean temperatures masked out.

The graph below shows the pixel counts of measured and published land temperatures. As you can see, the vast majority of fake pixels have positive anomalies. Their algorithms (which “work as designed”) skew fake data towards high temperatures..

The reported December land anomaly was 1.36C, but the average anomaly of the measured data showed only 0.71C. Mind boggling temperature fraud by NCDC.

Anyone with an IQ above a climate scientist or turnip should be able to pass this quiz.

I woke up this morning and immediately sensed that CO2 levels were up 0.000001 mole fraction from last year. Then I removed the pea from under the 14th mattress, and went back to sleep.

The city continues to suffer from global warming today.

One hundred years ago, global cooling was causing a world-wide drought and was making all the world’s glaciers disappear.

Scientists are much smarter now, and report that global warming is causing a world-wide drought and is making all the world’s glaciers disappear.

In 1975, the National Academy of Sciences showed no net Northern Hemisphere warming from 1900 to 1970, and about 0.5C cooling from the 1930’s to 1970

But this didn’t make climategate scientists happy, because it wrecked their global warming theory, which their livelihood depends on.

So NCDC made the most of the 1930’s/194o’s warmth disappear.

 The next graph is an overlay of the 1975 NAS graph on the current NCDC graph, normalized to the most recent years.

They pulled their standard trick of cooling all pre-1963 temperatures.

According to Hansen 2001, time of observation bias adjustments are not needed in global measurements.

 This time of observation correction, ….is not generally required in the rest of the world, because the systematic shift from once a day evening to once a day morning  observations which occurs at U.S. cooperative observer stations is not characteristic of most global observations  [Easterling et al., 1996b].

So why the data tampering by Team Climategate?

It would be good to remove at least part of the 1940s blip, but we are still left with “why the blip”.

The Earth’s temperature hasn’t changed for almost 20 years, despite a sharp increase in CO2.

The New York Times is pushing this propaganda because the White House wants to put pressure on Congressional Democrats to stay in line with Obama’s Keystone veto, which is intended to protect Warren Buffet’s multi-billion dollar business transporting Canadian oil by rail.

The New York Times is lying about the climate. They are lying about people’s opinions about the climate. They censor any opinions which impact their propaganda. What a pathetic excuse for a newspaper.

Human activities and the built environment trap heat and prevent cities from cooling down, said UCLA geography professor Dennis Lettenmaier.

“Everything’s warming up, but the effect is amplified in urban areas,” Lettenmaier said after studying  217 urban areas across the globe and finding that prolonged periods of extreme heat increased significantly in 48 percent of them between 1973 and 2012.

The findings, published in the journal Environmental Research Letters, show that about only 2 percent of those urban areas experienced a significant decline in heat waves. And the change was more dramatic at night: Almost two-thirds of the urban areas showed significant increases in the frequency of extremely hot nights.

Scientists have discovered a huge increase in UHI since 1973, yet USHCN makes essentially no adjustment in post 1973 temperatures.

And why did the author cherry-pick 1973 as the start year? Because it was right at a local minimum. Had he started in almost any prior year, it would have wrecked his story.

These academics spend months writing a paper completely full of crap, on a topic which it takes 10 minutes to write an informative blog post about.
